The AI knowing exactly where you are despite cover, suppressors, and mud is utter bullshit. The predator just needs to sit and follow them to find anyone hiding. Worst yet they tend to spawn right on top of players who are trying to hide. So unless you’re constantly running, which is useless since the predator is both faster and more built to out run, out jump, and teched out the ass, then the AI takes away the last advantage players have to hide. Even when using smoke and noise makers they AI will randomly decide they’re bored and wonder straight into players hiding in the mud behind a tree. This needs to be fixed.

I also love how FT presence will make them look up in utter confusion or stand up straight and idol like nobodys there! MGS had the most casual alert logics (and most realistic) and NOBODY has managed to dissect how Kojima productions programmed them.LOL!
Yeah the AI behaviour is awful. Same when predator starts camp alarms in other locations and all of a sudden the Ai from the whole map starts flooding your fireteam mission.
Or they just start shooting at the completely invisible predator that stayed still for a minute until they walk by.
I think the fireteam needs better immersion like once u mud up and hide in bushes or smth they are going to investigate and you can kill them stealthy lol… i dont think they should fire and know where u are but know to investigate right place yes…
They’ve snitched on me so many times now when trying to hide from a stalking Predator…and the way the just warp out of nowhere when doing certain objectives (Backwater particularly when you have to collect the hard drives, and they just ‘appear’ in the middle of the room…yeah, fuck that mission!)… The AI on MGS for PS1 was more advanced and realistic, how can illfonic be so lazy and slack on a PS4?
@Shifologist Was just researching your premier just now, and thought about what you were saying about the AI in that first match.
Camo clothing is literally nothing, mud is predator only, and hiding in the map (trees, rocks, etc.) doesn’t mean a thing to AI. I’ve have them spawn directly behind on me on roof tops before while trying to sneak and snipe.
