AK reloading time is just awful

the AK reloading animation should be accelerated, because its length makes this weapon completely useless in the game. also, it would be nice if this ugly extended mag was replaced with something else, such as a drum mag or two standard mags glued together with a duct tape with super-fast reloading perk between them.

AK doesn’t really need faster reload when it already has DPS behind it IMO.

I agree with you fully from a purely “how it feels” perspective. Lmg feels like it reloads faster and thats a nono.

But from a balance perspective the dps makes the long reload a requirement.

If it’s about the dps feature than it just needs to be lowered‘cuz dps isn’t all the gun. it’s pretty annoying thing when you’re working on the bunch of npc’s and your mag dries in the middle of this. every other gun has absolutely comfortable reloading times for situations like that but not the AK. The LMG has huge enuff mag for any npc crowd so it’s reloading time is totally fine but the AK’s mag isn’t that large.

and again to hell with dps. let it be lower but the weapon should be firing most of the time instead of reloading

Don’t bother reloading, just switch to your secondary. Then reload when they’re mostly cleared.

I know perfectly well how to play fps my friend. but still this rifle is broken, because you need to reload it more than shoot during gameplay

ah i see your arguement is absurd cause you think DPS doens’t matter when the reload is too long ok dude

just know that the AK has the fastest close range kill time on the predator at 3.3 seconds and that’s probably why it’s reload is so long since it’s DPS is so high

That is 100% incorrect. Even if each magazine only had one bullet, you would not be doing more reloading shooting; you would be reloading the exact same amount of times as firing. But the magazines hold considerably more than one round each. Therefore, it is impossible that one does more reloading than shooting.

Your exaggeration is laughable and does absolutely nothing to further your argument.

i know that. so what? my main antipred gun is spas’cuz it gives a chance of hitting’em hard during face to face melee after a parrying. so i don’t give a damn about that minus 1sec with AK. just because it’s impossible to be effective with it against rushing on you predator. and shootin’em on a distance is possible with absolutely anything but a knife. so yes. dps isn’t all the gun imo.

If you don’t like the gun that has a 3s TTK because it has to reload then just use the LMG and spray your 150 round mag that way for a 1-2s loss in dps boo hoo. Complaining about the strongest AR

the thing is that spas can be used instantly after a parry and will deliver a good punch with one shot and than continued with a knife. it won’t work with the rifles. and i’m not complaining at all. I just wanted to convey my vision to the developers. anyway we all free to use our own playstyles and loadouts. And i think rebalancing the AK will make it more flexible than it is, that’s all. I’m pretty good even without it in the game, but i just love that rifle because it was my presonal weapon in the army forces and i know how long the reloading of it takes for real. peace.
