I’m curious if they will show the Predator at all til the end of the show as the ending finally, like you maybe see them in the background, their hand balling and I balling their firsts, maybe hints of the camouflages hue or the clicks. Something close to a faceless character.

Well avp is still fully canon to the predator universe. Prey needs to figure out their plot hole with the pistol but it was confirmed it’s not a reboot of the yautjas first time on earth but just THAT yautjas first time on earth. Honestly I think the aliens universe trying to disown avp has hurt them overall in the longer run. Romulus was saving grace.

Prolly will have him make subtle appearances or jus an appearance at the end setting up the AVP that trachtenberg and alvarez were wanting to do. Or it could jus be like mass said its jus click bait to raise more hype for the show. Gonna try and check out that alien set thing in austin this weekend tho

After reviewing it again, it does sound a lot like a pred. But The new AVP idea at the moment isn’t going to sit well as a main plot point for Hawleys Alien tv show.
I kind of get that this Alien is from the downed ship, and I believe there is going to be some shit being this is going to be a weird alien at that. I think it might be mutable and capable of changing but we will see since I don’t know when this xeno comes into the story. Could be the very first scene set sometime in the future then it cuts to the main story arc set in the past explaining that shit which is the case for shows with no plot.
