What lawsuits? Aliens is 20th century fox. So it predator. So is aliens vs predator. Well Disney owns all those now. Name change isn’t necessary either. It would be FT hunt or xeno hunt. A mode with all 3 species would make it a
true AVP
But yeah xenos would be sick and I believe whole heartedly it’s coming.

AVP is definitely Canon to Predator, but I still wouldn’t want a AVP Mode right now.

I pitched an AVP idea to my friends a wile back, I believe it went something like this
3 Predators, 10 Humans(maybe more), and 1 Xenormorph in a match. Each roll is playable
Predators Objective: Hunt and keep the Xenormorphs from spreading
Humans Objective: Survive by any means necessary
Xenormorph Objective: Kill or Infect everything
Every Xenormorph that manages to down a player can kill them with a short claim, or turn that downed player into another Xenormorph/Predalien by successfully performing a long claim
Side note only one Predator can be turned into a Predalien

I think hunting Xeno’s will be crazy fun for the Predator and very intense for the FT.
It might even be a good way to teach FT to stay together.

I would Love too but nobody plays online and I already beat the Game sooooo…why would an AVP mode be an issue why would any extra mode be an issue right now LOL
I’ve said this before, but I think Xenos should be a limited time special event. Every now and again for a limited time they introduce Xenos as AI for Predators to hunt in teams in a separate mode, maybe horde type mode, and they can earn exclusive event themed rewards for participating like Xeno masks or trophies. It’ll take the stress off Predator wait times, give people a chance to earn trophies instead of RNG and all the anti-Xeno people can stick to regular hunt mode if they don’t want to get involved, everybody wins.

IPs are segmented in terms of medium that they can be published.
Yes for movies you get 20th Century Studios (no longer Fox 20th) under Disney.
For novels it is under Titan Books.
Comic books recently moved under Marvel from Dark Horse.
Alien(s) for gaming purposes was held by Capcom (not sure now as other company has being developing game for Aliens)
AvP is a separate IP.
By the way Daybreak games just acquired Cold Iron Studios and they are developing an Alien Shooter game

Im totally down for somthing like that the whole point of this is to see if people want this and if enough people do and it goes viral in the community maybe illfonic will listen and be like ok lets give them what they want and make some money and make the game grow like anythings possible the ideas are endless but I really like this idea would be good for practicing Predator

Also, I’m not an expert with IP when it comes to games, but in terms of films, Universal allowed Marvel to use Hulk in their films even though they still own the rights to the character, as did Sony for Spiderman, so it’s not out of the question for Illfonic to potentially strike a deal to potentially introduce Xenos into the game? But again, I’m no expert.
