Anyone one here playing the game?

I’m at the atmosphere processor fighting the queen with 5 FT and 2 survivor AIs on my team!
This is what I call a power house! There would have been an additional 2 other civis but I transported them away early on.

I’m on 30hours and where I’m at is like 50% holy shit guys. This game takes forever! Plus there is tons of datapads and story based cinematics to keep it interesting. I don’t know guys. I think a sequel is in order.
Couldn’t get better than this!

I was playing it nonstop until my gpu went out due to 105 hotspot. Was gonna re-paste /pad the gpu but it’s still under warranty.

When I get my rma’d card back next week I’ll be able to get on it again.

Watch your hardware temps carefully. The game works select pcs purty hard.

I recommend the movie audio mod and combining the game’s original soundtrack with alien trilogy ost and soundtrack from various alien films…just hits different

I like the OST just fine. Wondering, has it been released on youtube now?

Plus the hardware requirements are little on the 2016 side wouldn’t you say in terms of maximum?
If you’re worried about temps i would suggest you get extra fans to cool your case.
always the GPU has them built in most of the time, CPU is always, but you must have at least one big one and one small one to push and pull air through (at least with an adjustable knobber to turn it off as i do).

I had no issues with 6 fans plus a functioning Corsair aio. Only the gpu ran hot shortly after playing ONLY ADD.

The thermal pads in the gpu were replaced so I should be good to play ADD again. According to msi

Was having a blast.

At the core yes but many on the forums call the game out for being unoptimized

There is a bit of conjecture. Its problematic when using the built in upscaling techniques liek FSR. I suspect one should only find a sweet spot at 1080p and rarely use FSR. I suggest just playing at the standard 1080p at highest settings because trying to fuss with 2040p or something shit. Even rescaling the window ifyou’re in window mode does this automatically and produces even better dynamic results but usually you need to stay under 2k res.

I’ll try that out. Also noticed some people upset about no widescreen support.

I wonder if the devs will fix this sooner than later
