What really is a big pisser offer is it being in Aug 24th now unless we get a demo next week that would be cool. But when they advertise summer, and they literally give it to us the last week of summer,thats detestable.

The day we get an Alien lifecycle game instead of copy pasted laziness is the day western gaming stops being dead.
Then we still have to deal with the journalists complaining about wall walking being too disorienting so it would be some 3rd person lootbox cosmetic crap with the tail floating around infront of the screen.
It was evident in AVP1, AVP2, AVP2010 and in ACM. Can’t say that will change because conceptually its fine on paper but it feels cartoony and it will always be because ‘science’.
Alien hive simulator would be awesome. Movement like Spider-Man and using minions like overlord or prototype. Even if you die you can respawn at a safe house (hive) with any available alien provided you had the host or with any present alien.
I can see why people might be apprehensive about that (it’s why lucasfilm shot down a wookie game) since you don’t have dialogue. But in the same idea as that jaws game it could be a lot of fun to just take the piss with a movie retread if it means having fun.
I’m not sure if I am imagining it , but was there a part in avp2 where you actually had to control a chest burster? Avp 2010 I actually enjoyed , it could have been improved and hopefully someday it will be

Maneater is basically a remake of it aswell .

Any information on how communication works in this game? Is there a bunch of lines like in phg.? Or we have to use microphone?
I miss this game😩 AVP 2010 might not have been the best mechanically, but it had the heart and soul of a predator and alien game

Yes AVP 2010 was fun. There’s a AVP in works but it’s not rebellion (I asked them)

Bet it’ll be dead a few months after launch. 1 mode and you can’t even play as a Xeno. What a waste.

Not possible to play as Xeno is really a minus. Also wished it would be four fireteam members. Curious how this game will play compared to phg. Still don’t know if there Are character Lines (like in phg) in Game to communicate or microphone is only way
