I wonder if we could ever get crossovers to happen, there’s lots of things I think would be interesting to try or things the Devs could learn from each other. Not to mention the massive leg up they could get in development time by sharing models or other things depending.
I just got on the forum not to long ago, and I just so happen to click on the fourth post about the Alien game announcement. I also am just finding out that the game got a hotfix and no new content dropped.

I am not really interested unless I can play as a xenomorph. That was the one thing I didn’t care about Alien Isolation.
The last time we had a game you can play as an alien was in AVP 2010 and Colonial Marines which IMO AVP 2010 had the best alien movement mechanics out of all the games you could play as a xeno

If the game does well, playing as a Xeno is the logical expansion, they already have a multiplayer component so expanding into PvP is possible. I think it’s something you can balance with respawns, might take 2 Alien players and a shared pool of lives… the pool could also have ways of claiming the lives as rewards for specific actions ie. a solid trade, where you lose a life to inflict a death on the opposing side or Completing secondary objectives that slow the marines and give you an advantage in the end game.
The game sounds promising, it all depends on the bots they have.
I have my doubts, only due to the multiple buyouts of the company, the gameplay shown looks like a direct ripoff of COD Zombies, but mostly AVP2010 Horde mode, Already stated no DLC’s which means no further support of the game afterwards other than updates, and few other things
If Cold Iron MMO devs want to take their three year alpha $40 COD zombies arcade shooter skin over here and port xenos into this game for a small loan fine, otherwise unhype.

Is it just me or do you laugh too when seeing the Alien’s run in the trailer. It looks very quirky almost swarming dogs that crawl on walls
I’m concerned its like this was supposed to be isometric xcom style originally and they just moved the camera. Seriously looks like xcom FPS mods.

Yeah. Can’t say that i am optimistic and this is coming from Planetside 2 veteran. Also, why is it only 3 players? Is this some kind of a new fad? Second Extinction and Outriders are two other recent examples of that.
Honestly, it’s going to take a lot to draw my attention away from Deep Rock Galactic when it comes to co-op shooters. Those guys are truly on a roll and they just announced a new road map too. One of the few, rare devs that over delivers when it comes to their promises.
It’s probably gonna be bad. I won’t get it unless they actually plan on continuing to release content for it and I can play as a xeno

Ah, I hadn’t heard that. It’s unfortunate… guess I’ll just hope for a crossover into this game.
While it isn’t the Alien game I want, it looks like mindless team fun to me… I do hope they update the movement in the swarms, it being alpha footage, odds are it will be polished more before release.
I hope it does well, I want it to succeed so we can get better games in these genre games and it’s one more step on the path.
It can’t be worse than Colonial Marines. Then again. This industry is always full of surprises!
I hope it has decent AI, and gameplay. Other than that my expectations are purposeful low. I hope it’s fun with friends and makes us laugh our asses off.
How they run is so hilarious to look at, Like honestly I’ll be laughing myself to death before being scared out of my wits. But, maybe they’ll fix it and add playable aliens.
And who knows, maybe no DLC’s, but all free content updates which technically isn’t DLC’s and they’ll add a playable alien mode (wishful thinking)

Lol, or worse than CD Project being hacked and Cyberpunk’s mess
