Hey first of all i baught the delucxe edition 2 times, (1 for me & 1 for my son),
on my son’s pc the game works fine (aprox the same PC)
On my PC (Fx8350 (deff 4.0ghz- Radeon VII (def) - 32 GB RAM (def 1600 mhz) , game on SSD with only the game on it - nothing else on it) OS Win 7 Ultimate.
The game stuters every 5 -20 sec on the main screen,
ingame, when i play with predator, it’s playable expect when i find the other player marines (not the bots),
when i come near them i start to freeze almost every 2 sec.
When i play with marine class, it’s nearly unplayable, i got alot more freezes then with predator class.
Predator bugs :
Climbing on trees works half, 1 time i get on it no problem, 2nd time i can’t climb on. next tree i go to, works again.
When walking branches, sudenly i can’t move anymore after a certain time, i got to press all my keyboard keys to unstuk.
I also got mouse lag (wired mouse), when i stand still and look around with mouse it can also freeze.
What also happens alot is that my predator sudenly start autowalking for no reason, i got to press all directions multiple times to make him stop.
I checked everyting for viruses/malware multiple times, nothing with malwarebytes / Hitman Pro / avast.
I defragmented all my drives and the game.
Everything should work good and fast but no, it still stutters a lot.
I tryed overclocking my CPU / RAM / GPU but even that remains the same
I tryed ever Graphic settings from epic to low, i still got the same problem. i could bump everything to epic with the GPU i have but i see no point since the game stutters anyway.
I also update all my drivers i case you would ask, yes it’s all updated.
I realy don’t know what’s wrong but it’s sad i can’t enjoy the game like i would have.
My son got same PC Expect a RX570 GPU and only 24 GB RAM. It plays perfect on his PC.
A few notes on what’s irritating …
- We need ARROW keys Please … Can You please make us bind them?
For now i’m using a script to rebind the 4 keys to my arrows, but this should be in every game … a lot op people play with arrows … - There are to many jump keys … 1 or maybe 2 would have been good but 4 or 5 is like WTF …
- Predator is WEAK, marines are like 2-3 times stronger.
- i think some perks does nothing at all, i don’t remember wich ones but some are not working, like the reduce dammage from bullets, seems the same to me, i die fast as a predator :/
- Marines movement seems a bit slow and buggy aswell.
- Please do something to the join time … sometimes i wait like forever then it’s connecting and nobody is in the room expect me waiting for players.
- Will there be more maps in the future?
- Maybe a mode where you can play with 2 predators against marines (me & my son) against marines.
- A lot more bots would be nice (smarter ones if possible), i often end up having 5 kills only because i travel the whole map and almost find nothing to kill.
- more perks simultanius, it feels to restricted.
- Disc inverted up & down sucks, i always miss because of that, and it does not register the kills.
- Netgun should hold the target in place and for longer.
- charged handplasmacaster would be nice
- ability to stay in the trees in second wind.
- more predator visions would be awesome, like in the movie, Red, that other vision also that let you track more specific things.
- longer target isolation, since i freeze a lot, i often don’t see where the isolation is.
- The chopper should be called the last 2 min of game play that we have time to find each other, the game to often ens on 8 min gameplay, you can wait 20 min to join and it’s to quickly over sometimes.
- i don’t expect you would do this one but, could you add some aliens to the game xD and predator with Xenomorph visions to ? xD that would be fantastic lol.
- you get stuck a lot with predator.
- some things are a bit unrealistic to, like plasmacaster for example, blocked by a leaf … :/
- the plasmacaster against player marines is to weak, even if charged, against bots it’s good.
- cloacking, idk, everytime again they spot me real quick even if i stand still, maybe a lil more translucent? - Marines in mud or icecold (idk) are sometime real hard to spot with infrared.
- only 1 of the 3 gear keys are working, even if you remap them.
- ability to host your own LAN or Server with the settings you want would be awesome (i’m not talking about private match) but you know to keep the game alive in the future, like they did with the AVP Games.
- Out of bounds timer to 20 sec instead of 10, when you freeze you can almost not get back in time.
I redownloaded the game and checked the entegrity but everything seems fine.
