This would not help the numbers grow.

It would just make people feel forced and trapped in matches they do not want to be in.

But I know what it’s like to feel trapped in a match you dont want to be in because your team is retarded.

Second, a player based ranked system, meaning that other players decide who’s good or not is not a good idea.
Too many have different ways of judging skill.
It would be a shit show.

It would be better for illfonic to make the ranking system, which like I said would be easier for pred, but not easy to make an accurate ranking system for ft.

These conversations have taken place plenty of times before.

I had the experiences as well, but that doesn’t mean I did not go ahead and finished and played the game and stayed to the end. So did many out there, so you are probably in the other half or maybe surprised to be in a minority?(Except the ranging-quit kids).

Also on the ranks, people already have communities and groups of all sorts that they can organise and know eachother. So leave the community build itself up creatively in the supped ranked matches. Some are good fireteam some are good predators, some are good both and some none. Where is the issue in letting them congregate however they like?
