All Sniper rifles have a lens glare or laser site

Snipers in other games have glares on lenses to give warning they’re out there. If the sniper doesn’t have a site then the base should have a laser site. FT knows they are being targeted by a beam and audio que when using a caster as well as tracers on other projectiles.

They need neon glowing from sky for let you always knows where they are.

NO need to be a smart ass. Why if this forum full of FOOLS saying nothing useful?
Lets have a discussion not a who’s a bigger douche on the internet banter.
There’s a reason almost every game has this glare.

This seems fair. If we cant StealthSnipe with the Plasma Caster(the only high damage Range weapon Pred has), then they should have a laser light too…

OH! Then we could have different volored lasers to choose from to further bling up our weapons…

There is no laser site on rifle and what if sniper rifle without scope. The reason of you question is just easier way to spot sniper positions. Press Q for thermal vision.

Then preds should have the same benefit with Plasma caster…

Visible red triangle dots, but no big red beam point us out to you…
Like in the first movie…

I don’t play FT but in the real world anything that gives off a reflection is gonna have a gleam. Thats just how it is, snipers have had that. Its a classic way to pin point where a sniper is. The plasma caster…i mean thats just the nature of Yautja technology. You can have the perk that allows for the laser to be lighter…but idk…i feel like in this particular situation, not to invalidate how you feel, but it is what it is. That’s games across the board not just Predator Hunting grounds. I could be wrong but yeah.

Incorrect logic. Predator can rapidly change his position. Sniper must hold his position and became easy target if revealed. He cant use cloak and has only terrain as advantage. In you pattern of logic with sniper rifle you must get thermal vision and can leap from tree to tree.

you do know that “gleam” only happens under very specific circumstances like the sunlight bouncing off the scope and back to the target… that is rare af

i didn’t even know that this was an issue in this game at all lol i’ve never seen any of my teammates hold a position with a sniper and pin down or be an actual threat to the pred that way. i really don’t think they need to add anything to give the position of the ft away. the pred already has so many advantages and methods to find out where the ft is.

AI snipers have lasers on their sniper rifles.

Yeah but in games they use that as a signature for snipers a lot. And while it may be easier for a predator to see it…that doesn’t change the end result of getting capped in the head 😂

Ultimo beat me to pointing out what is so obvious everyone ignores it, lol. The AI snipers do have laser sights. The lasers are easier to see in thermal by far but they have them.

Why? This game is reasonably well balanced. It’s been out just over a week, not too many people are actually max level and thus have everything unlocked and yet people are making tons of suggestions about balance. Honestly, I’d just like some gate on people spamming Predator in the matchmaking queue and other than that we should give it a little more time before calling for major balancing changes.

More to your point, many other shooters have it where a sniper rifle is insta-death at least to the head if not to the center-of-mass. That’s not the case here, so a sniper really doesn’t need that level of highlighting that they’re on the battlefield. I’ve even tested the damage in a custom match with a friend. Did both heavy-hitting snipers and they don’t do sooooo much damage that it’s really unfair.

I don’t really want a glare, the Predator already has his heat vision. I would however, love the snipers to give the Predator some recoil when shot. Sometimes I get hit by 2 or 3 shots before I realize I’m being shot.

What do you mean? In the first movie, when the Predator shoots Dillon’s arm off his laser sight functions exactly the same as it does in the game. One long tracer sight from his mask to his target.

Thats the one time in the entire movie that it works that way. Blain, Mac, Poncho. No bean, just the dots…

Gotcha. The Predator did seem to be purposely giving his position away to toy with Dillon a bit before finishing him off since he was isolated from the rest of the squad. Maybe they could make it so that only charged shots have a visible laser sight, but I wish they hadn’t nerfed the charged shot’s damage.

This article about sniper rifles. Stop crying about predator in every topic. Its is a game not a movie. In this movie Predator was killed by wooden trap.

When was i “Crying”? Was it when i said this.

Or are you just being a butthurt little baby because i was right about the Preds target laser?

Is being right crying now, or is it only crying when facts are not what you wanted them to be?..

Looks like your the one getting misty eyed TBH… lol
