So with the new changes to the game, I’d say that the game is a lot more balanced. Thank you illfonic for listening and addressing some big issues.

Yo, so while I was playing with the bow, I managed to charge the bow all the way and actually pinned a FT dude… granted I was harassing them for a long time so he prolly ran out of heals. That never happened to me before, and I’m wondering if it’s new with this patch. But it was pretty awesome though. Full power, shot him and I think it was his foot. It hit him, said pinned, and when I went up to finish with melee he was already dead. Just had to claim him. Has this happened to anyone playing with the bow before? Man I’m stoked to play with the bow more.

Now the scout class, being pretty much the only ranged pred literally, got hit hard in this recent update. PC doesnt instadown FT no more, and that was pretty much the only thing scout had going for him/her. But across the board the buffs/nerfs were needed. People just gotta adjust that’s all. Whether FT or predator. Cause if that bow can pin people and kill them if theyre health is low enough… the bow is the new meta for ranged weapons. Lmk in the comments below.

PC is still good. In fact, I’d argue that it’s still great and probably more utilitarian than the bow. The bow is ACTUALLY VIABLE now, which is awesome but it’s a situation weapon. The PC is more situational now than before but, as a Scout, I find it’s still my most reliable source of kills. Yeah, maybe it doesn’t insta-down like it used to but it’s not that far from it. Just soften the team up with a little splash damage or focus guys taking a little fire from the AI’s and it still puts pressure like no other weapon.

It’s also the best ranged option for “baiting”. If you can get one FT down, just wait for his rescuer and most times you’ll put him down before he can revive his friend. 2 bird, 1 stone…and you can sometimes string them out for even more kills than that.

Just had a match as a scout and honestly I’m loving the changes. The PC is weaker but I use it wear down the FT and get to med range to finish them with bow or smart disc.

I use the hunter with the Yautja BOW. I netted a guy into a wall, which i have never done before. And i was about to charge bow shoot his head and pin him to the wall, but got interrupted by his teammate xD
