All this should be removed from the game

I play both sides. Damage on this game is ridiculously high because of all the buffs. Some passives/specializations counter the high damage but in a very stupid way because they lower it too much. So you are stuck playing specific classes and weapons to “survive” or win.

Most of the time is either too easy or too hard because of it.

Even a lot of FT mains agree that damage on this game is stupid high on both sides. Disk, plasma, combi throw, axe, saw-z, grenades… specializations and perks makes them even worse

The game would be way better if we didn’t have to play loadouts like Stalker or Analytic with Downrange or Fearless. Be better if everybody wasn’t running around with Deadly, Duelist & Sniper with Yautja’s Bane or Heavy Hitter. Remove everything like that, on both sides.

I love how is only the 2 or 3 people who constantly disagree with this… yet over discord they agree, so I’m pretty sure they are just trolling.

I don’t feel FM problem is the speed. Never have. The problem is the health. If it picks up a scout, recon, even assault with TS not much of a problem, but every time they pick up another support with TS or a Dante with TS it becomes a problem. They come back with 120HP, which is stupid. It shouldn’t be more than 80HP

All of what I specified applies for both, except for tracker. Shouldn’t even have mentioned FM since that a specialization, but yeah. For BOTH sides.

I agree with Specializations in that directly Boosted Damage Specs should be removed. On the subject of Specs that are more mechanic based, should just be tuned. Like Duelist can still work if Pistols were given faster ready/stow speed along with the increased reserves. FM would obviously get nerfed to only either be faster or just be more health.

Generally agree with everything else except Passives. Passives on their own without Perks or Specs should be balanced in practice. Like an Assault would feel far more dangerous to fight than a Scout would in terms of pure damage number potential. As for Scout themsleves, the Damage Boost should be tuned down like 10% if it is really +20%.

Christ…this thread is junk. what do you small potatoes do for a living? I only hope its not working for free on this game. Its simpy a either a joke to erk people on this game anymore. Its been 2 years folks. Effort has to be increasingly paid for. Otherwise, I think most of us probably want to be psychologists for the poor souls lost to this game, horribly obsessed with its continued development.

There is no need to explain, even if a Prey based DLC exists, it won’t save it. I mean if even adding 1 new weapon is pain in the butt for them, don’t expect it to happen.

The only way I’ll get TANK Dreds at lvl 500 is if they reboot the pred system. Meaning adding to it. not happening unless there is more investors looking for a sequel, or suddenly ppl paying for something not yet done. Meaning a seed funding or kickstarter thing.

Yup. On both sides are weak specs/perks/weapons that should be buffed and others that should be nerfed but only to make people use other stuff…
The game needs a rework, not about damage but about gameplay itself. The Predator should be more stealthy, both night and day (lower gargling and footsteps sound. Limited pig spawn, but the eating animation should be faster and pigs shouldn’t scream twice. Mask should have more resistance to damage, but once it get’s destroyed the Pred stamina capacity should decrease and have red blurred vision only…While in 2nd wind, Pred should have a temporary long jump, adrenal boost, iron side and impenetrable perks. Missions should take longer. Predator should have more gear slots and should be able to carry more traps, nets. Traps should deal additional temporary speed nerf and nets bleed damage.
Bottom line, the Pred should be able to HUNT. But if he slips, he get’s the penalty…

This coward who uses macros and communicates with other cowards through the microphone, did not accept the challenge of fighting me. M won when we tried a predator as a test.

The problem with balance in this game is it’s two different games. Randoms on the one hand, experienced players on the other.

Balancing for randoms and potatoes has made the game wildly imbalanced at higher skill levels. We all know this.

I don’t really see a solution 🤷‍♂️
