Gear : 0 (he comes with traps by default)
Alpha is completely primitive and his gameplay should reflect that. That means no technology. No infared but target isolation (instinct) lasts longer.

It fits I said it before is Lore he is a very powerful predator and his skin is impenetrable so he needs to be a new class on himself instead of skin
I personally don’t agree. Plasma Caster and Wristblades are part of a Predator’s core kit in Gameplay. There’s adhering to lore, and then there’s adhering to Gameplay Functionality. If we go by what you mean, Jungle Hunter should be locked to Wristblade and Plasma Caster only.
Alpha has wrist blades already and plasma caster would be replaced by the shuriken and spear so he would still have ranged attacks.
It’s not the same. The Shoulder Mounted Plasma Caster is essential to Predator’s tool kit as a in general ranged weapon that packs more of a punch than Handheld, doesn’t break like Smart-Disc, and has AOE unlike Bow. It provides the most comfortably ranged combat any Predator would want besides the stealth the Bow provides.
Although, I would want his Bone Staff to be a Combi-Stick Skin and his Bone Skurkien to just be a Smart Disc Skin.
I think you’re missing my point. Every other predator class has this option. Although I get what your saying. Yes this class would lack that option but would make up for it in other areas.
They really only use it on a Xenomorph and you don’t need it in this game either but it’s still even if you give him the shuriken it’s still ranged they rarely use it on humans they don’t need to use it on humans and it wasn’t designed for them
I don’t even use the plasma caster so I couldn’t care less if they took it away for an alpha rework

I get what y’all mean with the lore and trust me, I’m a lorehead, but that doesn’t mean you would just take away a core part of the Predator’s default tool kit in gameplay, whether you’d admit it or not. The reason why Alpha is a Hunter clone was probably because people would get mad if he was a different class behind a 40 Dollar Action Figure Paywall. That was the deal.
There was never a pay wall for alpha. Always intended to be free. Paid for early access.
Not till Yesterday. And yes it was a Paywall from a collaboration. Buy the Figure for 30 bucks, 40 Online, get the code for Ps4. Paywall. Alpha was never mentioned to be Free. Only that he was to be available later globally “later this summer”, right now being later.
And I get your point with the classes, I’m just putting in my two cents why I think it’s not a good idea.

Fair point, it’s more just the right choice of words to say that “He could be free, he could not, you want early access? Choice is an illusion, buy the toy.”
