Diverse? Like different skin colors? or are we talking about races? because there are tons! Elves, Dwarves and Men? But like I stated they are force to make their own characters, they don’t have a choice but it should still lead to it being what the Tolkien Estate Established and that’s “tolkienian.”
I dont know if its still up , but im sure amazon removed a promo with the cast and it was all about representation, like black , female etc .

Well like I said they had to make up characters but it’s a shame, I mean if it’s set during the second age but can’t use any of the material, what can they make?
Yeah I get your point , and you aren’t wrong , but how the execute it is everything . With how they are promoting it? It seems very political and box ticking . It may be good, but name one good woke show or movie?

I will be honest im not heavy into LOTR , I had seen most of the movies and recently I watched all the hobbits and the extended versions of LOTR , they are fun movies but I cant see them repeating their appeal. At least for me .
It’s cuz you didn’t read the books 😜 there is so much extended Lore you don’t see in the movies that the extended editions of the movies couldn’t cover them all, like in the LOTR book fellowship of the ring, There was a character the Hobbits were supposed to meet called Tom Bombadil who was supposed to save them from a old evil willow tree with song, he also is the only one who could resist the power of the ring and threw it like it was nothing lol and then there is Aragorn with the Hobbits to Rivendell, they camped and he sung a song about a man falling in love with the elf maiden in the woods and it was a story from Tolkien’s unfinished (now finished cuz of his son) The Silmarillion
