Amazons are only particularly annoying to go against when youāre running solo in pubs & youāve got vegetables as teammates when the Predator just mashes L2 with the Hook & gets lucky with the tracking a couple times.

Yh I mean I donāt blame them for using a stronger build but it can still be irritating when a Predator thinks theyāre the shit because they mashed L2 all game & got lucky while you had to carry 3 randoms.
There was one match a few weeks ago where I forced an Amazon away to heal about 5 times pretty much singlehandedly without anyone getting downed, until suddenly all 3 randoms decided to stand out in the open instead of staying on the objective & the Predator came back & downed 2 of them with Hook heavy hits before I could get to them in time, and as I came around the corner & melted half the Predās health it just jumped around a couple times, missed the first heavy, and then lands the 2nd swing before following it up with another one before my syrette could heal me enough.
Bearing in mind that this Amazon quite literally just mashed the Hook heavy attack the entire match. He quite literally didnāt use any other weapon, and Iām pretty sure he didnāt even use the light attack for the Hook either. He mustāve had somewhere between 25-50% health left, and then he just did 2 heavy attacks on the last Assault player who looked like heād just bought the game.
Needless to say, I had over 5000 damage at the end of the game & my teammates had about 900 damage between the 3 of them.
Public matches are certainly somethingš¤£

Honestly, itās not that losing matches like this is what sucks. Itās that sometimes these types of preds believe theyāre hot shit. Iāve said it before and Iāll keep saying it. āI can do what you just did in less than half the time, and I know others who can do it in a quarter of the timeā. Itās just obnoxious bro

Yh literally. Iāve ran into some Predators who start teabagging me after they took 5+ minutes to down me by myself while Iām chilling in a party chat & not even taking anything seriouslyš¤£
One of these people I ran into a couple games later & played seriously, and he was dead within 2-3 minutes. Every time I ran into that guy with my premade or a few friends again we killed him & teabagged him back. Petty I know but it was equally as hilarious at the time.
Another one of them was an Xbox Predator who started teabagging me while I was only squadded up with one friend, and he called in the reinforcements shortly after I died, we moved to the chopper & I quite literally killed this Predator by myself at the exfil with an army of AIs shooting at meš¤£
I went into game chat at the end & said āso Predator, the teabagging didnāt end very well for you did it?ā And he told me to "get better"š¤£ so I said "Ah yes, Iām clearly the one who needs to get better, not the Predator who just got killed by 1 Fireteam member by himself at the exfil"š¤£
People are weird in this game man. Some people just assume every match is like a tournament & get cocky or salty at the end.
Itās the same when Iām playing as Predator in publics, Iāll be screwing around with some sort of gimmick build or just letting them get reinforcements & Iām hardly paying attention to whatās happening. Next thing I know, the match ends after I kill the last one, and suddenly some angry little elf hops on the mic calling me a ācheaterā, āhackerā, āspammerā, āpā ssyā, ātryhardā etc. Who had clearly been in a spot of bother all matchš¤£
Thereās a few who will stand around with their knife out at the end of the game & Iāll decide to honor the knife fight for once in a blue moon due to boredom or something along those lines, and then at the end theyāll be like āif I had my team you wouldāve lostā as if they literally hadnāt dealt any damage to me until I gave them a free knife fightš
Once in a while though you find the odd wholesome person so that can be a nice change of scenery.
