Ridiculously fast! Try it out! jump into the waist deep water and it makes you go WTF!?? Its faster than LMS running with a knife using Scout… I think speed is tracked using depth of water because I have waddled through puddles ankle deep, and overgrowths waterfall area, and its nothing like those!

I’ve tried it out and it’s REALLY fast. It’s even faster than when I used to run my Scout with Double Time a few patches ago

doubletime: 120m in about 15 seconds
Amphibious: 120m in about 14 seconds
DT+Amphibious:120m in about 12 seconds

Alright then, that is really fast
This is from today’s Hotfix notes, they did not actually remove this effect, instead the speed got nerfed. At least it got nerfed on Excavation specifically at the exfil location. Not sure about Backwater though.
Update: Actually the mud effect stays on a long time but actually goes away but not quick enough to actually notice until the very last minute eventually you’ll pass through some water anyway.
and Backwater continues to make Amphibious run quite fast.
I guess it hasn’t changed.
