There was an interesting thing that happened here. Did anyone else see it?
Ok, ok, i wont keep you in suspense any longer.
Players had to adapt to a change in the meta, and it was all recorded in the forums…
How do i mean? Well, what happened when people pred players started unlocking Berserker and Combistick?.. The forums BLOW UP with “Combistick OP” and “Berserker OP” threads.
Me and a few other Pred mains told the people that made those threads “Suck it up. Berserker isnt OP, just Learn how to counter him.” The more helpful people actually explaind how to counter him, and the less helpful people said “Git gud”.
Then what happened? I’ll tell you.
Suddenly we seen a spike in “PARRY IS OP” threads. Because Fireteam started using a mechanic that they never had to use before to counter the new Heavy Melee attacks. I didn’t know i could parry with the knife. I never used the knife for anything more than AI bashing before yesterday.
And now whats happening on the Pred side?
Most of us are deciding the Trade off of Less speed for more health, just aint a goid trade and we’re either going back to Hunter(thats shat i did) or people are trying Scout now.
Scout play has gone up, and the Forums reflected it AGAIN with “Plasma Caster is OP” threads…
This has been an interesting event. I dont know if this would be a Psychology experience, or a sociological one, but it was damn interesting… 🤔
