An Old Fanfiction I Recovered

Dunno where this’d be best at, considering it IS Predator related, but not directly related to Hunting Grounds. Erring on the side of caution and choosing General Discussion.

I suppose, skipping theatrics, is that, while digging and rummaging around, I found that I had a Predator Fanfiction out there, a Novelization of Concrete Jungle. I’ve been playing the game again following the update, and my inspiration’s trickling back, so I decided to drop a link to it here for people to read if they want.

I admit, Concrete Jungle wasn’t a perfect and flawless game but it was still a pretty good game; it had good ideas, concepts, and a good setting, and I suppose that’s what made me begin this a year ago, and pick it back up a year later.

Hope y’all enjoy it, and I hope it puts y’all in the hunting mood!

Cool, thanks for sharing. I am still listening to Predator : Stalking Shadows, the official prequel novel for this game. It’s pretty good and if you start an Audible account you can get it for free as long as you cancel within 30 days.

Fireteam: Stalking Shadows is not worth using up your audible trial lol

5% dutch
5% throwing grenades at a predator until it dies a page later
40% dialogue
50% time skips

Sounds like 100 % fan fiction to me . heart emoji

But yeah, you should probably get Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky for your audible trial lol.

I was delayed in my response, but yeah from what I heard, Stalking Shadows wasn’t all that good. But alas and alack. It was, at one point, I considered just writing my own, but with Disney having control of the IP, and how intelligent they’ve been with their current IPs, not naming any names, I’m not certain they’ll open things up to the fans to work with, so to speak.

So, Concrete Jungle. Good setting to work with, plenty to explore. I “did” have an idea for something original but, as said above, the chances of me getting it published are few and thin.

For now, I hope people are enjoying the story, and I hope I can find a way to share and get it out there on the site more. May help with the low readership.
