Analytic Tested

There have been some questions about the exact mechanics of the Analytic specialization, so we’ve ran some tests and it’s actually very simple. If a player is scanned, there name is placed on the right of the screen.

Once they’re name is there, the bonus damage will be applied to that player. The red diamond above the head does not need to be visible once the player has been scanned.

Motion sensors will not activate the Analytic bonus. Only getting a scan so their name appears on the right side of the screen will activate Analytic bonus against that player.

Scanning can only be completed in thermal and within 45m or less. If a player is mudded, they can be scanned, but you must aim directly at them.

Does the bonus disappear over time?

Very nice!
Unfortunately there is no info about scanning in tutorial or benefits from this feature without this specialization.
And the main question: Where the hell pred helmet zooming?
Suggestion for scanning feature: you can see ft load out and hp bar.

It seemed to last as long as the scanned player’s name is on the right of the screen. If there is a way to remove that, then maybe the bonus could disappear.

Short answer, no, there is not a timed decay of the Analytic bonus.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it stopped after claim. Might be worth double checking to see if it’s in affect after reinforcements or if you need to rescan.

I bet you would need to re-scan in that case. We just did a two player test, so we would just need an additional player to test this.

Let me know, happy to help, I’ll probably be around Thursday and Friday

Curious to see what the damage is like in clash, with the limited effect it has for that play list

So in conclusion you have a 15% dmg boost the whole match?

Seems like it, I may have to start using it more if this is how it works.

Any info about the amount of damage increased? About 10% or so? Is it worth it?

It’s about a 15% damage increase.

Yup. 15%.

Oh, that’s kinda nice!

This specialization is worthless against good FT. You have to be close enough to get the buff activated, but a good FT will spot and maybe melt you before you can even try to use the buff.

It’s not so bad if you’re just getting that initial scan. With some patience and good positioning. If you had to keep them “tagged” the whole time then yeah forget it

Yeah if you had to consistently re-scan the FT to get the diamond over their head then yeah that’s just for harvesting potatoes however if it’s just for the name scan once then it can be pretty damn useful.

Was thinking this is what was happening!
Thank You!!

The diamond over there head is just for tracking purposes! Cause if have all 4 players scanned and 3 players dont re-mud after the scan and one does all the diamonds go away! Its used for Attack planing!

It feels like its only a 5% buff in clash. Cant be sure tho!

So I have found scanning Premades to be difficult!

But I think there is a huge work around and Im need to test this theory but Im pretty sure this is how Target Iso is supposed to be used while in combat for like focused or whatever!! Lol!! Thats another point tho!!

Sooooo

@SkooLBoY_SkePtiK

I have a working theory, Target Iso can be used two ways. The first as we know is finding the Ft!!!

The second! Is I have noticed if you are actively engaging the ft and they are all not mudded while in ur field of vision use target iso and it scans them all a lot faster. 1-4 doesn’t matter how many are in ur view while target iso is active the scan is improved!
So anyways!!

So normally when a ft member is naked and u are using vision it scans them but you sorta have to keep looking at them!

While using target iso as long as they are on the screen it will scan them!

I haven’t tested this theory yet, this is all on gameplay and observations!
