Which do you think is the better specialisation?
Analytic is increased damage on all scanned Fireteam members
Stalker is increased damage when at full stamina
Analytic can be used on City Hunter, Scout, Exiled.
Stalker can be used on Elder and Cleopatra
I’m also pretty sure I’m the only lucky bastard who has both Hunter Stalker and Hunter Analytic bugged loadouts🤣

Analytic req. someone to be fully scanned once and it’s permanent 15% damage increase with all forms of damage. Without your mask this will render the spec useless however if you’ve scanned them before you lost you still keep it. If you lost it before you could scan anyone then I don’t know what to tell you.
Stalker requires you to have full stamina to benefit from the extra damage and can only be applied to ranged weapons. Pretty much renders this as ranged only and limits you as a player.
Overall, analytic is the better of the two due to these factors.
P.S. Anyone can have different specs on the wrong classes I.e. hunter disciplined if you know how to do it.
Yeah Analytic is very good. It’s even better when you already scan people by habit like I do. I love the Predators form of wall hacks🤣 the little red diamonds above their heads are my best friends🤣

Analytic. Against pc and good ps4 teams, you will constantly have to be on the move when using plasma caster, therefore using up stamina a lot to evade being shot to hell
Stalker 10 times better.
Although analytic is (still?) bugged , not working as intended. (it’s actuallt stronger because it doesn’t fade out)

And again about Analytic: you need to scan un-mudded FTs, but that’s almost impossible - or at least very problematic - vs good teams which are always mudded up.
I tell you from experience, a lot of good teams DONT mud up because they are too busy hunting the pred. And they usually stick together so if you get one scanned you can wait and scan the others before attacking
If they are hunting you, and not vice-versa, then something is wrong and analytic won’t help you that much anyway :)
Depends on the map. Overgrowth and backwater let you stay in the trees almost 100% of the time, which means fill stamina. Stalker is best here. But on any other map that’s no good so analytic all the way
good stalker (I mean the act of stalking, not the spec) players never stay in the trees. Watch Orbiter’s games (in the tournament thread)
Oh agreed. I prefer staying mobile. But elder stalker with down range height advantage and large pouch is mean as hell if you don’t get out of the trees
Stalker’s damage buff is easier to achieve, but is limited to ranged weapons only, and it can be annoying to have to be at full stamina for the damage increase sometimes.
Analytic however increased damage from all forms of weaponry and it also isn’t impossible to scan people when they are mudded. When Fireteam members are only just freshly mudded you can still scan them if you are a few metres away. If their mud is partially worn off then you can scan them still. Some players do forget to mud up aswell whilst caught up in the action.
I was able to beat Samhain’s team using both Analytic, and Stalker on Cleopatra. You can still scan them in but I guess it sort of depends on your playstyle as to which you favour. Ranged plasma users tend to use Stalker more. Players who like to come a bit closer and use Combi throws and bow tend to prefer Analytic.
If there are more cliff faces and trees with good cover on a map then it may be more advantageous to use Stalker, but if not then Analytic may be the better option.
I agree with your analysis in general, but I was thinking more about what IMO is the only real competitive situation out there:
all other configurations, from my point of view, are not viable and with very few exceptions, they will most likely see FT win
I like Analytic a bit more because its available on my Scout, which as you know is the best Pred.
I do Love my Elder Stalker tho which is a Plasma Dropping Bastard with Dithered, Mod. Reserve, and downrange.
But is it possible to glitch specs on PS4?!
It is, but the process is a bit harder. I haven’t gotten it to work yet, I think I’m doing something wrong, but its no big.
