Has anyone got the animal skulls or the Viking axe or other secret stuff ? I must of opened over 2000 field lockers and have yet to find one, kinda sucks veritanium takes alot longer to collect now and u basically earn next to none as predator, most I’ve got as predator was about 220.
I don’t think they need to change the random stuff but at least put the veritanium earnings back to the way they were. I have no complaints except that lol and it still feels like a petty gripe.
I’m right there with ya man… I am level 100 and I have only gotten a handful of epics from chests. I wish they would allow you to get them via achievements. Kill 1,000 Fire Team Members, etc etc.
I got the Viking Axe but nothing else so far. I heard there are human skull, spine, and a samurai sword. Those are the ones I really want, lol.
That’s what I don’t understand - physically having those items makes me want to play MORE. Not having them, coupled with no path to getting them, depresses me. I mean, how fucking badass would it be to roleplay as the Predator in a game by killing three of the fire team members, healing to full, then just walking to the last guy and pulling out the Sword… One can dream.
(I realize it’s not a skin for the Elder Sword… but I can dream lol.

I’ve unlocked the Damascus Steel Gutter, Damascus Steel Scimitar, Damascus Steel Combat Blade, Lilac Tactical and Violet Tactical Blades.
I usually spam the opening process and open them in groups of ten or more. I’ve had good success this way, and when the exotics start appearing I usually get two or three within 10 boxes. That’s not to say I haven’t had the usual dry spells where it’s just three cyan dupes over and over.

What I find funny is how insignificant the 3 animals are that you can get a trophy for. Predator comes all this way to hunt a fucking bobcat?
How about an a Alligator skull or great white jaw, or Grizzly skull. If going to use the skulls of earth animals then least pick one at the top of the food chain!

I like to think its not neccessarily the "apex"ness of the animal that matters but the method in which they killed it.
Like obviously a coyote stands no chance but hey if you pinged it from a football field away with a hand thrown spear while chasing some ex-special forces guy and you like the way the skull looks then hey.
They carry plenty of small skulls as decorations its not always about the most dangerous game.

They typically hunt worthy prey though? And the most worthy would be those at the top of the food chain. Likely one of the reasons why they hunt humans, top of the planets food chain.
But they like trophies and trophies are valued on rarity and the challenge of hunt, something that could make a stand and a worthwhile foe.
A white tiger or polar bear, rare and formidable. Perfect for a young Predator.
They did have small animal skills on their armour and netting in the movies though,.like trinkets or charm bracelets sort of things. Yautja love pretty skulls I guess.
