To coincide with the release of the game it would release on a Saturday. But it’d probably release between the 18th and 23rd.

@OldKingHamlet do anniversary challenges that week like field lockers or a weekly that works towards a trophy or skin. We still have a lot of people who don’t have the 87 mask so you could do a challenge that works towards unlocking it.

So I feel that the update will either be the 23rd since its the Friday before the year. But most likely it will be the 27th cause its the Tuesday! And I feel the April Update will be a large free update

I’d be fine having the 87 mask be achievable through challenges. It’s already in the base game and obtainable for field lockers, so I don’t think having it become achievable would be a breach of their preorder exclusivity promise.

Actually, I think it would be a good idea because then maybe those who asked for JH87 will be somewhat satiated and it would be a decent middle ground.
