Another Illfonic livestream

True but compared to console it has better framerate most of the time, but optimization on both platforms is still rough.

If you have the right hardware. I can play smoothly at over 100fps Epic settings, but I have friends on PC who can’t even achieve 60fps on low settings.

I assume they have decent hardware?

The consensus for most PC players is that they can configure their settings to play at optimal playability sacrificing some visual things (major visual effects or minor things). And by playability…i mean consistent framerates without noticable …lag.

Not really, but in all honesty this game should not have to require top of the line hardware, it’s not a AAA game and the graphics look like they belong in 2008.

If I played on pc I would care more about performance and stability than graphics, I dont need 8k with ray tracing on my game to play it.

Even though 8k isn’t out yet.

Again there is a minimun require …(IMHO- my setup meets) and i do very lowing of settings and still obtain quality of what is intended visually. And there is very little to no visible frame rate errors or crashes.

Which is apperciated on pc cause you dont need max settings to play it.

Well, when you spend thousands on your rig you want both, not just performance. That’s why this game is so frustrating because even with a nice rig you get shit fps at max settings.

Yeah and thats mostly due to games poor optimization.

Exactly šŸ’Æ

There are various reasons why one would spend on a PC rig…its not entirely for gaming.
One would have to be down right crazy to be a gamer only…and not a graphics artist …etc.
but yeah, i don’t think people JUST game on their computers if they are enthusiasts they are PART gamer/part developer/part …this and that…so its not an obsession.unless you’re oncrack cocaine.

the allusion is there though.

Lol…you’d be surprised 😯

Some people have legit professional gigs that require constant upgrading…unless obsession is killing their loneli lives. Then they become streamers…then lose it all. including their sanity.

This is so true. Casual gamers won’t put up with bad performance. I bet almost everybody who continues to play after week or two are huge predator fans that want to play a predator game no matter what. Then again, I may be projecting.

True, gaming can be very addictive.

Im guilty of it, but im also a FPS nut, I can barely stand 30fps even if its done well.

Damn…I need a minimum of steady 75fps if not I just can’t play it.

Bloodborne was hard af mostly due to 30fps lock I cannot wait to go back amd play it again at 60 or maybe even 120fps on PS5 lol.

30 is subpar. above 50 is best. 30 doesnt allow you to compansate for a lot of things…can’t really describe it though. Its when animation is actually done at 30 fps and you’re doing something right after that really matter and you need those frames to be responsive right after the animation stops.
