a deal is a deal. if you preordered it, you payed for it. it was included in your preorder. doesnā€™t matter if you redeem the game a year later

Unless they specified the exclusive content was to be redeemed before certain date (which they didnā€™t), you should get it if you have proof you bought the game before the release date.

Sorry to bump this thread, but I just thought Iā€™d add my two cents here.

I pre-ordered this game, but never got the Jungle Hunter Skin. I contacted Customer Support and after asking a couple questions, they ignored me and refused to reply. They asked for my Game Build Number, which I assume indicates whether or not you pre-ordered the game. I also assume that upon telling them my build number, they think Iā€™m trying to scam them out of a free character skinā€¦

However, this is where it gets into BS territory.

I felt like playing the other day, reinstalled the game, and realized I didnā€™t own the JH Pred skin. Well, I went back into my email history, and retrieved the receipt from Epic Games.

The receipt clearly shows that I purchased the game a day late. However, the email confirmation hit my account at 7:50pm the PRIOR DAY, which means it should have counted as a ā€œpre-orderā€ seeing as how I actually ā€œPRE-ORDEREDā€ the game before release.

Moral of the story: Illfonic seems to be dishonest, scammy, (or lazy) and I wonā€™t be supporting them any more. First the Friday the 13th debacle, now I find out that they donā€™t honor purchases made the day before release.
