fix the lower graphics to be able to play on epic settings smoothly and I guarantee you no one complains anymore about buff and nerf. its the lower graphic users that use current exploits, I’ve done my research and u can see the predator soooooo much better lowered. compared to high setting I’ve had the whole team run right by me like feet away. fix the game to run correctly on machines that should beast this game. then we can talk everything else. its broken at the core of being a playable video game. my two cents

I think he is talking about low frame rates and how the optimization is crap… If that is his point, he is right :)

When someone writes about an issue, then takes one side–he pretty much leaves behind half the player base. That’s just plain stupid. This is an asym. Two sides. You might want to bridge that gap if the issue isn’t one sided?

The issue is not one sided for sure. I have no idea how PS guys can play this game on 30 frames. To me it feels bad even if it dips below 60. I am running it at 90 frames.

Heavily nerf all ranged weapons on both factions. Fix performance issues. Everybody will be happy, trust me.
Me thinks that would just transform the game into heavy melee for preds, FT would all just run heavy hitter (or whatever its called)? Everybody would just have to be masters at parry (elder sword) and just try to knife him down instead of shooting him.

nah, it would just extend the match. is not nerfing it to the point of making it useless. just nerf it enough that they are not a 1 or 2 shots match ending weapon for anybody
frame rates, lag, predator gliding, ever seen a low graphic cloacked predator, it looks so out place like a mirror jumping around and turning black sometimes, that would eliminate some snipers cause they couldn’t hit all those shots. not one sided at all. all round, no advantages but those used as perks, with epic setting all the time and Smooth play, no freezing dimming down textures, the game would be what it suppose to be, but thats not considered apparently by the designer. thats what I’m saying .
I get the same FPS at medium settings as I do at cinematic, wth!? This game is poorly optimized. If I get around 75 fps at cinematic I should be able to get double at medium, but nope…shitty optimization.

I don’t know man, before the last patch melee was very frequently used. If you buff melee even more then before, its going to be used even more. I would like to point out that people on PS have far more success with melee then ranged, the balance there would be effected even worse. On PS people are not as good with aiming as on PC, now if predators melee is buffed as you said, its going to be really bad over there. Imagine trying to shoot the predator down with a controller before he caves your face in with an elder sword.
The burst has a reason and I think its because you have more people on console. If they can’t burst close to how fast you can melee them to death its not going to be good, I’ve looked at the PS Tournament and how much they shoot from the hip even.
If you nerf ranged, you need to nerf melee as well, at least in my opinion. I would not mind it. I would love slower games.
I never mentioned buffing melee, I said nerfing ranged weapons so they are not a 1 or 2 shot insta-down or mask off.
Nerfing ranged is a indirect buff to melee. The more you nerf ranged, the more you buff melee.
Check how many people where going melee before the last patch and how many now. They did not buff the ranged weapons for predators, they just made it harder to go close in melee because of the ranged damage up close.
To put it simple, if you have an assault rifle in a game and a sniper rifle (just this 2 weapons) and you nerf the sniper, you give an indirect buff to the assault rifle. If you nerf the sniper rifle enough, even if its still viable, all people would just use the assault rifle since its more efficient.
A heavy nerf to ranged weapons would make all predators (just about) run net gun + elder sword, I guarantee it.

Not with heavily nerfed ranged weapons. Also that in premades, in randoms? Oh BOY!
Also, I don’t want that type of gameplay anyway. The thing that I like the most with the new patch is that we get a lot more ranged play and the game last more. A melee fest game is the last thing I want.
