Right now every 9 of 10 PC Predators abuse roofslam and afterslamanimation cancel. just no point playing like this and start losing interest for this game. Need fix this ASAP before exploiters scare away all players from this game. For PS players - strongly recommend you turn off crossplay, for PC players just DC straight away if you see someone use it, gladly there are no DC penalty yet.

So you recommend to be platform nazi? If I’m playing from PC I need to wait much more time because of your fear of exploits I have never seen ingame? What if I doesn’t want to play against PC-users as Predator, cuz of their good aim, but I’m still playing. What if I don’t want to play with PS users as FT, cuz of their bad aim and teamplay, but I’m still playing. If you turn off cross croosplay - you will kill this game by your own hands!

Neither of those are truly exploits, and neither of them are exclusive to predator. Roof slam is just that explosives are noclip. The FT can shoot an explosive canister in front of a corner peaking pred and the explosion will hit him even behind cover. and the slam animation cancel is an animation cancel, just like FT reloads, and sniper recoil reaim.

animation there for reason. its stupid if you can just deal 100+ damage by 1 hit and instarun away or start melee. barrels very situational and have very little impact, so its bad example. i dont know about FT animation but reload shouldnt be insta if you somehow can do it - its exploit
I play PS4 and cross-platform. And have yet to be roofslam spammed. Nearly two weeks since I bought the game, I play everyday for long hours because I have no life and in still enjoying the game and having fun.
If you see that Predator soaring towards you, just get out of the blast range and jump as it lands and you can avoid the effects. And if you’re going to shelter in buildings in a group, then roofslams are a legit and viable way to flush us out.
Yeah, the animation cancel needs fixing but there’s waaaayyyy bigger issues at the moment.

Yes. Animation is there for a reason, its stupid to be able to pull of a bolt sniper shot, and then instantly be able to line up the next shot or be able to reload the minigun in half the time.
Fine, how about grenades, or the grenade launcher? Those are easier to pull off. and those thin walls around stargazer camps which make good cover to plasma peek, and the wide explosive radius?
Animation cancels are in every game. And both the slam exploits can be punished by spacing yourselves out.

grenades and grenade launcher are terrible, almost noone use it, so its not a big problem. i said already if there a cheese way to insta reload or reload faster then normal its an exploit. spacing yourself out? most objectives require you to enter the building or even stay inside for a timer
Most missions have an objective you have to go inside, but only one person needs to go or stay nearby, usually are still able to be close enough outside, And if they are jump slamming, you can take up positions up on a nearby building so when they land, you start shooting at them and swap out if you can’t handle the damage.

or whatever you like to call it. From what I can tell this is intended. All of the Predator AoE plasma tech can penetrate objects/walls. This is consistent across the tech.
The animation cancel at the end I think is debatable though and many feel that portion is an exploit.

Cant you do this shit on ps4 too by just pressing leap after slam?

do you realize how stupid this comparison? if you not meleerush full health FT like dumbdumb you shouldnt have any problem with parry. Oh you will say - “well just dont stay in buildings” - its objective INSIDE buildings, you have to go inside, but you dont have to meleerush. Of course i dont like taking 100+ damage without any counterplay
You missed the point. I was addressing your need to persuade everyone to play as you say over an issue you personally have, as well as this having nothing to do with crossplay. I respect your opinion with regard to roof slam.
