So has anyone found any new leaks

I peered into my crystal ball

The future for this game looks like this

It will be irrefutably dead by the end of the year

Except for the few that eat/sleep/breathe Predator

Frankly it’s what Illfonic deserves

I mean they made their money

They have nothing to lose

Hopefully the bad press from this disaster of a game will wreck them. I harbor deep resentment for how this IP has been handled.

Not yet bud sorry

Yeah i thought they would’ve learned a lesson from F13 but nope

I remember thinking that with Friday the 13th yet here we are and there isn’t even a lawsuit holding them back 😂

They all seem like really cool people. I would absolutely get a beer with them. But they’re poor developers.

They need a better dev team that’s larger(much).

Why Sony doesn’t send reinforcements is beyond me…

The got their money from Illfonic and they don’t care

They’ve been over this. They have three groups they have to follow. Illfonic itself has to follow its own schedule, the I.P holders, and Sony. They can’t just start talking about incoming content. And frankly with all the leaks I wouldn’t be surprised if someone cracked down on it.

New content is February.

Are you able to explain WHY, though? Because to me this is the equivalent of releasing a movie without a trailer. It makes no fucking sense.

Illfonic just releases the trailer the same day as the movie

I literally just said they have an internal schedule, Sony, and the I.P holders to contend with.

You see what’s visible on roadmaps but otherwise we don’t know what’s going on until we find it in the files or Illfonic just tells us. It sucks but that’s just the situation. If you’re familiar with Battlefront 2 it’s not that far off from how things went with that.

Yeah, sorry. I should have quoted more than I did. What I mean is that I can’t fathom why the other parties involved don’t want to have people excited about what’s coming. I guess my question is largely rhetorical at this point, though. I just wish somebody could explain to me why it is the way it is. Then I’d be content.

The issue is largely with the publisher and the I.P holder and the product has to be reflective of the brand. Sony and the I.P holders have to sign off on whatever it is Illfonic is doing. The roadmaps tend to look the way they do so if something changes we know content is coming but we’re not locked into Scar or a new version of Dutch if something goes wrong a month or two out. They’re open about things closer to release but that’s when things are locked in.

It sucks that’s the way things work but that’s the way things go with brands especially when you have multiple parties involved. We don’t know what’s up until all parties sign off.
