I have a really difficult time dealing with small rooms like the map with the cave in it. Any tips on how to successfully attack a fireteam in situations like that? Everytime we get into the cave I just get reamed because obviously the camo isnt full proof so they can see me. What should I do?

I’d recommend the plasma caster with fully charged shots to soften them up from a distance. And I’d also recommend pretty much never entering a building with the FT inside 🙂

small rooms, I usually plasma spam that shit from a tree or on another building. If they’re all going to hide in there, they deserve it. Just uncloak from a safe angle, charge up and let fly inside. Another alternative I’ve seen is using the disc, but that takes some practice. Using the bow is good too.
For the cave areas on Excavation, depends on what class you’re using. For tankier classes like Cleo and Viking, you can run in and do some melee, or quick shots with the bow. Its good to use hit and run tactics as well. If you’re using a class with less hp like Scout, stay back and use distance weapons like the caster and bow, or again the disc. You CAN run in and do melee but if you’re still new I wouldn’t recommend it.

Nah not new at all I have been playing the game since it came out but since they dropped it for free on playstation I had the urge to go and collect nooby skulls. Lately though I have been getting into close quarters situations where they just camp and its hard for me to flush them out because of all of the healing and grenades. Thanks for the insight.

Ahhhh ok. Yeah its been fun getting some newb skulls. But yeah, for when they camp together and stay in one group, plasma caster, always. You get direct and AOE damage, so they’re all getting hurt in some way. By using it and hit and run you get them to waste their grenades and syrettes faster, and since they’re camping they can’t run to any health or ammo. Support bags can be destroyed through plasma too, so they’re pretty much screwed no matter what.

I like getting on top, stomp around and make them waste bullets/nades as they unsuccessfully try to reach me, by leaping away. Then start the plasma spam.
Beware of teams running 3-4 supports camping inside like the little bitches they are. Killing them will take a lot of plasma shots and it will be boring as hell. With the queue times we have now, I don’t even bother. I just jump to the end of the map, leave and requeue.
Don’t forget to get ready for the barrage of salt that’ll come your way if you so much as use the caster for getting them while they’re camping inside instead of rushing in with the wrist blades.

Thats okay they put it in the game and if you dont have it upgraded I dont feel like its overpowered honestly it feels pretty underpowered so they can suck my ass if they get salty :)
Small rooms or huge caves? Make up your mind, or are you just having a hard time in general. For claiming to be a day one player, you really don’t sound like one.

The “huge cave” is close quarters and relatively small in terms of an open map. “Scarface” what a fucking fag LMAO.
