So I just had a match on ps4 against Erik something-or-other. I was Pred. He was the only FT member in the match. The others quit because there weren’t 4 of them, but Erik stuck it out. I decided to be nice and help him out, get him his xp, so I cleared all the Ai I found so he could accomplish objectives. Problem was, he hunkered down and dug in. I even tried to coax him out by mimicking 'this way and ‘over here’, while uncloaked, directly in front of him to get him to follow me, but he didn’t pick up on what I was doing. With 29 seconds left, I killed and claimed him, but I genuinely did want to be a buddy that time. At the time, I felt he deserved it. So, for anyone brave enough to set foot out there alone, if all your partners quit on you, I may just feel merciful.

Very true. I know one match I had as predator was absolutely hilarious and most fun match ever, decided to do a Gollum impression and the ft just had fun with it as much as I did!

I did the same once. All players left, so when I came across him in the match, I didn’t attack him; I helped the guy clearing the AI, I was with him the whole time, we were buddies… however my genuine intention was to have a “mano a mano” battle to death at the exfil point. I didn’t have a mic, so how was he supposed to know what I wanted?
I roared, and hit him once right before he left. Didn’t get what I wanted, but I thought “meh, that’s fine”.
Done it multiple times with 2 or one player. ONLY one time where he just wanted a go at me but the rest, I let them get the objectives till the end, then I ended their miserable human life
And just like that, Yautja-Human negotiations fail yet again.
I have had 4 memorable buddy moments when I Infiltrate as a small team of 2.
- 2 FT members raced to the top of the mountain in derailed antogonizing the predator to face us at the top and forgetting about the mission altogether.
- 2FT members…just hiding out under the little crawl space in backwater…till predator got to us.
- 1v1 …me as FT against the Predator…never had the longest dance of death and was quite challenging.
- 1pred vs 1 FT…2FT at first…he killed the other guy almost 30 seconds into the game and he realized after a few squats of trust (SOT) that he would help me finish the game and kill some guys too. in the end i never fired at him and he let me exfil. …This guy I remember his id as @WillYouSaveMe
He gets more experience if HE kills the AI, lol. :D

I’ll do that if they’re a low level. I’ll even let them kill me for the XP. Did the same thing as Jason on F13 quite often.
2 notable instances.
First I was pred. Solo FT member. Did the crouch jump of friendship, he kept shooting at me. Finally he pulls out his knife, running in circles swiping it. I drop down and again try to be peaceful. He charges at me with a knife so I had no choice but to claim him.
Second I was on FT, decent pred downs and kills me quick. Gets two more, lets the last guy hit reinforcement. Only I come back cuz the other two rage quit. I run out with a knife and immediately start the crouch jump of peace and negotiate with the pred. He is peaceful, so i take him back to the other guy, who tries shooting him…took a while but eventually he figured it out. The three of us run the mission, get the exfil, just as the chopper gets there pred kills the guy for shooting him earlier and lets me leave. I didn’t cuz why not let him take my skull home since I’m 150 already…worked out in the end I guess?
He rejected your universal sign of friendship and didn’t want your pity. XP be damned, knife fight me at the waterfall.

I’ve been on both sides.
1st got ditched by my FT after the Predator downed them all I tried to revive them but he wasn’t having it so I ran to reinforcement but they all left, I tried to fight Predator with my Spaz and my Pig Sticker but soon Realized he wasn’t being overly aggressive so I waited and sure enough he came over and started helping me kill all the AI to complete the mission we actually did some unintentional but awesome team up attacks which was rad. We stayed together until the chopper was on the way and then we battled it out Knife vs Wristblades, He won but it was awesome nonetheless.
2nd I was the Predator and in similar fashion I killed all but 2 of the FT who left soon after I did and one guy must of walked away from his screen because he just stood there and got killed by AI, I did my best to convey to the Last survivor that I was a Benevolent Hunter and would now aid in his extraction that way he could “Live to Tell The Tale” but he was a right foul git that one and ungrateful to boot, so I had no choice but to continuously net him to the floor and wall for some much needed Time Outs until he learned to accept my charitable nature…but he did not so I had no choice but to kill him, but I did not Claim him that is reserved for Prey with Manners 😜😂

No actually I don’t 😁 Frivolous Trophies from unworthy prey are as valuable as participation trophies for losing. Only The Strong Only The Worthy are claimed 😜 unless it auto claims for me…can’t help those ones…
Last night when there was 5 mins left for the Daily, I just ran straight to the FT and let them kill me so they could secure the body (which was the Daily). I was in a good mood, which is rare.
Sure, but the alarms went off and all. He would’ve been killed, probably.
