Thanks to Reddit user Overlord2360. Can anyone tell me how this is balanced at all? What’s really scary is I expected to see someone running the unleashed perk that gives an explosion damage boost. No one was using it.
Anyone got a stopwatch?

A hot tip for your next round would be not to stop this close right infront of the Fireteam, atleast 2 of them saw you. : /
Predators get melted so fast post 2.08, so yeah, 2 grenades and gunfire will send one into second wind pretty fast. It’s not balanced, haven’t been for a while, it’s the damage the Fireteam can output that is causing it, still Illfonic keeps buffing the damage for FT.
The green blood around the screen in second wind reminds me of Turtles, i like Turtles.

Shared as a visual for exactly what you just described. The downright REDICULOUS speed a pred can get second winded now.

And I didn’t realize thats too close, if thats too close then what range can the pred attack from safely.

“Safe distance” is determined by the situation but essentially out of sight. Cloak is completely invisible at 45m so that’s you’re best threshold. Makes it a lot easier to disengage when you need to.

I still would of thought on that pipe the pred would be realtvily safe but he leaped on it as the ft were passing by it, but still that damage isnt even fair at that point.

Currently, safest distance for Predator to engage Fireteam is from the moon’s of Yautja Prime.

At that point use an oribital laser cannon take out the ft and the jungle.

Personally pipe is too in the middle of sight. FT looking up or down or anyway really is gonna see you. Also got boned because he switched thermal off right infront of them. They were mudded so hard to see already. Dead give away.

In all seriousness though that damage was the equavillant of tripping and then setting off a nuke accidentally yeah there should of been some damage done but not seconded winded.
