Arcadegedon - planning ahead

Lets be completely honest here - Illfonic will not develop and support 2 products at the same time. therefore, I have a proposition, that I personally think is reasonable enough, and should satisfy (to some extent) everybody:

@OldKingHamlet, @Courier - is it at all possible for a full SDK kit to be developed and released to community, can this request be taken to the board at least for review?
It would be a shame to just abandon this project and move on to something else - you guys got Arnie involved in this - that is an accomplishment on its own rights. On the other hand anyone with a half brain will understand that business is business, and money needs to be made. If an SDK kit will be released, you can be certain that this game will live a long life after Illfonic will move on. This is how super old games, the likes of ArmA and DayZ, are still around

No, but seriously - as far as I know modding, SDK kit would benefit only PC community. I honestly don’t see a solution for consoles

I think PS players getting the mods is the only hurdle I can see. Because PHG would need something akin to what Fallout 4 had for console players when it comes to community made mods.

Its like a baristo…they sell cups of brown liquid made from powdered brownie things. Money makes the world go round. I don’t know anything about 3D objects but I’m sure the equivalent is there. I just dont bother googling …brown liquid business tropes because I’m not interested in fiction business stuff.

I’d be happy with just dedicated servers, even if we have to set them up on AWS and pay for it. Once they shutdown, playing an FPS over P2P will be a joke, just like private matches are right now.

To think we thought they were ACTIVELY making this game better… (PHG)

Probably haven’t laid a finger on it in months to focus on this new project and what we have as updates were previously completed. Makes sense since new updates break the game with no consideration of past coding.

Hell, unfinished Masks or leaked Masks had the 2020* beside them.

Bet after their tank of a crossplay weekend, they gave up on this game.

They have done nothing as a company except ruin Legendary IPs (F13 and Predator).

They will produce a game no one buys to use up the funds made from this game and literally kill any amount of creativity they could have had access to for “Predator”.

Watch a ton of proposed ideas put into this forum, make it into this … whatever the fuck game they are deciding to produce.

@Noktrum they can’t even fix the simplest of issues when it comes to their game. Highly doubt they would give us the keys to “Predator City” and allow any form of outside help since they themselves aren’t even looking for it.

They literally let it die, regardless of whoever tied their hands.

Look, Noktrum posted in the subject line Arcadegedon and didnt mention any of it! He went on to ask about SDK for PHG…so WTF!!! His beef is that the company doesn’t know what they are doing and you know that Notrum’s intelligience is that of a cockroach.
