Cliffs on the character design, for example: The reason characters look like that was that they look not-human enough that we could swing a T for Teen rating. This means we don’t have to age gate content, if we do things in Europe we don’t have to hide the game behind walls, and similar. And I’d say a lot more of the design tries to goes back to the 80s and 90s. The game also has a different goal. Predator: Hunting Grounds is a PvP experience. Arcadegeddon is a PvE experience.

I think a lot of people would feel a lot better if they trusted me when I said that the announce of Arcadegeddon’s early access has changed nothing about Predator: Hunting Grounds timeline, that we have announced DLC through the year, and have a big red arrow on the roadmap pointing to the future.

Honestly I was confused af about that gif but I’ve been getting like 4 hours of sleep for the last week.

Yep, Arcadegeddon has been playable internally for a solid while, so honestly the hardest thing was not leaking it out of excitement. It’s cool being in an indie company as my bad ideas get more traction than they should (eg the Fun FUN Co. hack going on Twitter right now, and I also was the one who wordsmithed the Rise Up And Play tagline for Arcadegeddon, so I’m running off that high every time I see it in use :p )
