Are Americans not allowed to innovate?

in America
Is there an over whelming fear of monopoly if one engineers their own inventions?
Is there a problem where certain generations of people lambast new generations about their cause and livelihood?

Why are youngsters turning to guns? or maybe that is a multilayered answer of mental health and corruption in the areas of weapons and politics AND ONES OWn ability to legally make lots of money for themselves.

mAYO you jumped on this thread too fast for comfort.

Tell me in extreme detail all the points you’re trying to make here. I want a long read.

Hey HEY. I’m not joking.
You write me an essay.

I will read it. And I will give feedback on my thoughts and opinions.

No not really as in the place we are now it’s a wonder if any monopoly ever gets broken (tech companies, internet providers being an example) the last major monopoly that got broken in America was AT&T i think

yes

you answered yoru own question generally speaking i would assume young people are shooting places up due easy to access the weapons and mental health issues due to an age of hopelessness we’ve entered

where it’s pretty clear most of the united states citizens are exceptionally selfish so much so that we willing make other peoples lives worse because we see the world as a zero sum game so if someone is winning that means we must be losing

and i’m afraid we’ve just reached a critical mass of hopeless people that we just have to deal with it happening cause more or less changes aren’t coming any time soon or probably won’t come at all due to the again the selfishness of other people an example is the housing market (home owners do not want low income housing places in or near their neighborhood cause it would lower the value of their homes so even though they want the homeless people to not be homeless they certainly don’t want them anywhere near them so no budget from cities will ever go toward making said homes and because the places with the most money to be made [California] no one wants to buy homes out in the midwest cause those places do not have the high income jobs people want to work in even if the homes are affordable there) here in America it is currently in our best interest to make other peoples lives worse so that our individual life will be better

there is also an issue of echo chambers in general that’s cause a fission in our countries people as the two sides (blues) and (reds) live in different realities and we just won’t talk to each other cause the we both think the other side is beyond saving due to the extreme believers being so loud on the internet

though to answer your topic’s question are American’s not allowed to innovate?
we absolutely are it’s just there is currently no incentive for us to do so no company is going to waste time on R&D to create something new when what we have works so well unless government gets involved (see electric cars and green energy in general) as you have to remember here in America every single company runs on the tiniest margins to be profitable in the fortune 500 and that’s while making record profits for some of them year over year

and if your not a big company and you try to innovate your doing so to get bought out by another bigger company usually or until you get a cease and desist because your infringing on copyright

I call shenanigans. And use some proper grammar and punctuation, for science’s sake. It makes it easier to read.

what

You managed to explain quite a bit!

Recent research has shown that empirical evidence for globalization of corporate innovation is very limited and as a corollary the market for technologies is shrinking. As a world leader, it’s important for America to provide systematic research grants for our scientists. I believe strongly there will always be a need for us to have a well-articulated innovation policy with emphasis on human resource development. Thank you.

Alternatively hop in a truck and mow down a parade in high gear. About as effective as japan spending money to try to make suicide less “accessible.”

As for innovation, just wait for a proper war.

lol.
but also who honestly wants tent cities and broken fences next door?
There will always be a class war until everyone’s in a tent.

Also guns are based and everyone should have basic firearm knowledge and safety training. An armed society is a badass society.

The people who scream the most about society needing to help the homeless, “minorities” and the like are also the ones most likely to avoid living anywhere near the people they supposedly fight for.

Hasn’t this always been the case?

Wouldn’t people living worse mean a lesser economy and less taxes and value of city property going down?

Because fundamentally those people don’t want to accept that they are pitying others & treating them as lessers because EVERYONE IS EQUALLL

Everyone should’ve realized in high school that some people are just fucking dumb or lazy to the point of self harm and no amount of resources you throw at them is going to do anything other than teach them they can manipulate others as long as it means they get to do less & get handouts. Some people just have 0 drive and are complacent being surrounded by garbage while pinning blame on external factors completely outside their responsibility.

There are also people that are innately just delusional dreamers that can live everyday convinced they are eventually going to win the lottery or make it as a professional rapper/gamer/singer/sportsball player/streamer.
90% of the time being broke is a complacent mentality and people MUST go clubbing every week with their rent money. Vast majority of humans don’t even have the impulse control to have money set aside then want to feel entitled to someone else’s funds.

yes im salty.

There is a divide. mainly between those who think they are well to do and those who are mentally ill. It looks like there seems to be a large amount of attention (even money) given to those who are mentally ill but their ill actions make a disturbance which is the one thing all people know is not acceptable. The charity given to them however is overlooked, and even their illness is called to attention more so because of their ill intent.
Its disparaging but yeah, … You @Finessology, need to take action what you believe is right, rather than being compelled to dwell on what went wrong and being consumed by it. doing so doesn’t help the situation.

If taking action equates to something positive (if very little) then you’re still doing the right thing.
But inaction and accepting and displaying the negative, isn’t doing much for yourself or for the greater good.

Its about mentality. IF you have a good mentality, there is no need to dwell on the negative. The negative is like …a death stranding because of over fishing or polution or mass migration of whales… You know?

I’d rather donate to a cancer fund over buying a low income household an ipad and some Adidas, just how it is.
Most of these people already know how to exploit the system, they’ll be fine. People in section 8 housing arent going to die from starvation, they’re going to die from gang violence. Then it becomes a cop problem. Circular mentality of people smuggling/stealing because its quick & easy and fuck having a job and authorities etc.

Reality is, taxpayer money isn’t going to pay for role models. Throw low income households into the military, if they can’t float there then it is what it is. Worked for hundreds of years.

But without taxpayer money, who will fund the government to perpetuate the cycle of broken homes and dependency?
