Are the games servers down right now?

So I tried starting the game right now but it doesn’t seem to work. It just says “User login failure! Verify internet connectivity.” I can only play offline. Is an update coming or is it just me? I’ll appreciate every answer I’ll get.

Apparently, there’s some Fortnite event and it’s screwing with Epic servers 🤣

They have to fix the offline part too, right now I can’t customize anything so a Tutorial game would not even use my Default guy!
And my video settings reset probably also my controls.
