So this is what I see sometimes:

  1. ā€¦not sure how things started, but at some point you make a questionable statement or claim.
  2. People are all over it and try to disprove it.
  3. Eventually they disprove it but you are still defensive.
  4. Then you play a victim a bit until some truce Iā€™d reached and evertything is kewl.
  5. Just as people get comfortable with the new enlightened you, you say something along the lines of ā€˜thats fine, but donā€™t think for a second that you know me, cause you donā€™t so fak yuā€™ and youā€™re ready to start the cycle again after this new boost of confidence.

Lately Iā€™ve seen less of this, but a few months back it was more common. Its quite fascinating to me

They may not see the whole picture, but if they converse with you, Iā€™d say they are trying to understand your side, otherwise they wouldnā€™t bother. Or maybe, like itā€™s said in Fight Club, ā€˜theyre just waiting for their turn to talkā€™ šŸ˜

Eh. Luckily its just here on the forums and not anything serious.

Good lord Iā€™d lose my god damn mind if I had to deal with some of the ppl of the forums on a daily basis in person.

In person is key words. Its easier to read people in person so the arguments would never be so drawn out. Plus, you wouldnt be having a conversation 5-15 people at the same time. It would be too hard to follow.

I do enjoy this type of controlled chaos of the forums. Plus the memes

I mean, in forums i can jump from topics to topics or responds to different people in a matter of seconds. Iā€™m real life if Iā€™m listening to person A, then I would not be able to listen to person B, C if they are taking about something else.
