Or the person can choose not rhw be offended and consider the offender as a low iq person and feels pitty towards that person because of that.
This might be hard for people to absorb , but people aren’t a hive mind , context is a real thing .
If he said it with intent and hatred , which nobody else can interpret on thunders behalf , then its a bit more straight cut .

I don’t quite like either option because they both internalize and there is no resolution. There doesn’t have to be perhaps, but that’s not where we are on this as a society
I understand that side too and it’s the right thing to do currently. It just feels incomplete to me. I want clear boundaries but pure logic does not allow for that. So society makes a decision to to forgo context because of this. There might not be a better solution, but i still don’t like it.
