Are the Yaujta evil? Vote again I fixed the poll.

Thundercats. Got it.
The thing is this isnt really a discussion that could get anyone banned. Not if its just the topic.

I honestly didn’t make it to get anyone banned or anything, I’m genuinely curious as to what people think regarding this.
But if chaos happens, well at least itl be entertaining.

Cause god damn were the forums boring when I was gone.
@MassImpact124 had the only funny post while I was gone.

EMOTIONAL DAAAAMAGE

I don’t think they have good/evil on Yautja, just success and failure. Strength or weakness. Focus or madness in the case of a bad blood.

We may consider them evil, based on our own morality, but they see us as prey, similar to how a Polar bear, Tiger or Cougar would see us, as they actively hunt humans.

But like i was saying. I think if Royce comes back he will put in a neutral or a good word about yautja culture. Perhaps he would even go further to denounce certain aspects of human culture. A Merc with a conscience

Honestly I’d be down to hunt like the yaujta.
I’m pretty sure I can take out at least one xenomorph xD.

Il go out swinging at the very least.

Would it be a good thing for them not to explore deeper issues of morality? Things like treachery, murder, justice, freedom, motivations, etc…

You’d lose to a girl 😂😂

They do, in a sense. That’s why they label preds bad bloods if they dont follow the code.

Lmao I lost to my ex.
My sanity and patience for people.
So in a sense yes.

Agreed, but it seems simplistic and only focuses on the hunt itself.

Next pred movie will focus on emotions. Predator: the therapy.

Yautja emotions are not displayed well in movies. When they hunt, they are in the zone. Besides hubris, they seem somewhat unphased

Objective good and evil may not exist, but subjectively these notions help us understand other cultures, do in a sense they exist objectively.

But dont you wanna fly to another planet and assert dominance?
Or would you rather insert dominance?

No because the are hunting, now if there are space police that marked say earth and other planets as animal preserves, then that would make yautja Poachers

I would want to learn first how a certain society evolved. We perceive everting though human experience so we really no idea how things may happen otherwise. Even yautja culture is anthropomorphic of human samurai culture.

A long time ago i read the first and last man by Olaf Stapleton. I don’t remember it well, but it’s a really ambitious look at human evolution over thousands of years (influenced by Deus Ex. Lol)

To get that book, my library had to request a copy from Australia. I sheet you not.

I forgot they already do man they cool!

The enforcers! (Space cops)

Cliffs notes are a way to go on that one. It is kinda boring, but possibly enlightening
