Never gonna happen, I’m not even sure it can be fixed at this point, it’s such a shambles of a game you have to think how was it even possibleto get to the point they have. A games developer who can’t make the game they created work,lliterally their job

I think the game is awesome. Not perfect, but what is? Looking forward to future DLC this month or next. At any rate, at least the developers are not finished with this game yet and I applaud their efforts.

That might be optimistic, even if it is ready they likely won’t want to give people false expectations and will hold off till Nov.

Well if they are working on variants then it could be Oct, it all depends on how long till the next one after. If it’s going to be more than three months they’ll hold it back a month.

My thinking is that the maps that were leaked; excavation, airstrip and headquarters have been in development since the game released if not since the beginning of development

Don’t disagree, the thing is if they are expanding into another biome that could take a few months to plan, then build and these maps are likely still getting missions made for them.
I think the team planning the missions is the same team that plans the maps. A lot goes into each one and they seem to be building up features for them i the elevator, train, windows that open.

I think Airfield will be next. If it is this month all the better.

I think airfield headquarters will still be in the jungle

I see what you’re saying about wanting less downtime between the next batch of maps but I think it would be a mistake to hold off on airfield and headquarters because of that

Airfield and HQ are definitely in the jungle, no doubt in my mind about that.

The future past that though is murky, could be night maps or premodern era for the current maps, doing the variant thing. Could be a one off map, something weird or they could do Arctic following the ‘movies’ and give us a snow map.

I look forward to them all, maps are the key to happy players.

Jungle maps should be easier for them to produce at a higher volume to pad out the non jungle maps if there are any

Given the fact that Excavation brought more Predator missions. I believe Airfield will have a Predator ship(intact or crashed) in it, and HQ will have a mother load of Predator related missions

Airfield is STGZ version of Groom Lake, that makes a certain amount of sense…
Following along with that train of thought, it might not only be a STGZ HQ but a Predator one as well. We know Predators set up hunting camps, decorated with their trophies, so maybe Headquarters in a play in the word head, to be taken the same way one would headhunting.

I mean, it’s definitely a bit early to question if the DLC for this month is coming out or not. Illfonic doesn’t say stuff till it comes out or is about to come out, that part’s obvious. It’s already established that either through lock and key methods of release or mandated rules, Illfonic remains tight lipped on speculation.

However, that isn’t reason to immediately assume “Oh shit man, we aren’t getting shit this month.”, since stuff for the most part has come out at the end of the month. A consistent stream of monthly content, however sparse is still content which half becomes free.

We already know that the Clash Update was our Free Update, so we’re still gonna get our DLC Update/Patch Nodes all the same. The only time where this wasn’t the case was Dutch 87 and the subtle change to the Roadmap where we went a single month without any DLC.

I don’t expect a new map or mode this/next month, but I do expect a DLC Character and inculded additions; that much sould be certain.
