The wait times are rearing back up to the double digits.
Players are coming back new and old and it’s fantastic.
My question, is there going to be anything done server side to help and assist with these wait times?
Been in a 15 min queue and everytime I requeue, I keeps going over estimated and doesn’t connect.
Amazing for the game, but hopefully the wait times can be addressed, sorta like before?

Wouldn’t they be able to port ANY of the F13 servers? (Now have been unplugged)
Or are they apart of the last teams collection?
I mean, the times were rough enough at the start of the game and you’re (illfonic) trying to entertain a crowd that wants nothing but quick matchmaking time.
So I’m surprised this wouldn’t be… a priority?
Clash is a 2 minute wait too… not ideal especially for people coming in New and used to quick load in times.

The reason why the use times are so high is because there’s too many Pred mains.
i dont know why wait times are so long and sometimes connection times out. Thinking they are working on stuff. Considering there is nothing to play for right now. Just a casual quiet day.

There are multiple reasons that would play into not wanting to ‘port’ those servers over; e.g., older OS of the servers, different virtual hardware configuration that wouldn’t be able to support certain user counts, feature/functionality that is not available compared to newly deployed servers, different code, etc.
Also, the wait times have absolutely zero to do with the server farm - it is 100% a math problem with the fact that there are more players playing Predator which results in longer wait times because there aren’t enough players selecting FT. If there are more than 20% of the players selecting Predator, then the waits will increase (each match consists of 4 players being FT - 80% of the players in the match).
That’s because more people are queuing for Pred than they are for Fire Team. That’s always been the case and that’s never going to change. It’s only going to get worse as time passes and player numbers continue to dwindle.
If they had any sense. They would have added the lobby system that’s available for private matches into public matches too instead of forcing people to search for new matches. They had that same system in Friday 13th too.
Also. The fact that they added that Clash crap doesn’t help the Hunt mode queues either. Talk about a waste of resources and throwing another wrench into your game’s development and overall state. That shitty mode is bound to affect balancing too. Wonderful. Since they’ve done a fine job handling that aspect of the game so far.
