Arnold says "ill be back" in the NEXT Pred movie

Fuckin hell brother

Lay of the Sopas

Yo shit be Claggy™

Haa! And then you woke up!! Lol

you-gotta-come-see-this-randy-marsh

How many Kuriegs? 🤔

Idk what that is

Bruh. It’s the official metric for large craps. Bono the front man for U2 is the former record holder/record. He was surpassed by a monstrous crap taken by Randy Marsh. Supposedly kimchi and pf changs was the secret.

Oh idk i just dropped a huge kawabunga and shared it with context lol

I’ve provided evidence on other threads. Before I bother, I should figure out if you’ve actually absorbed the movie or just saw trees and clapped.

Who was the most well written character in the movie?

@Martinez was, look at his adorable lil face

Lol aww hell naw

‘Absorbed the movie’ yet you hate it, and I should be going by your standards. Nice one.

But since you need an answer, it’s clearly Dek.

Nah, Dek’s brother was far more interesting.

They both love wiener

Fair. Love to see a prequel about him.

I was only being half sincere.
I liked Badlands enough to not hate it. However, it does suffer from “Disney-fication”.

The concept of a runt brother tryna prove himself is good on paper, and for the first like half hour of the movie it works for me. I can always appreciate a story of brotherhood.

However it is corny asf to have Dek be on some Luffy shit recruiting everyone he meets. I think “Bud” (as goofy as he was) was an interesting concept, but like a post I previously shared stated; he’s like jar-jar. People dont like jar-jar bc comic relief is seldom appreciated in “serious” film. However, Bud is a fun and unique concept, just leaned into the funnies a bit too much.

Theia is annoying asf, I understand she’s like a child bc she’s been in the lab and not the field like her sister, but holy fuck does that clanker yap.

I think badlands follows an equation for a “good movie” well, but that doesn’t make it a “good” predator movie. I think its cool its pg13 so some new gens can maybe get into the universe like us oldheads, but that also castrated the movie from it’s full potential.

It gets a 4/20 in my book. Gotta get ripped asf to really enjoy it past my second watch.

First off, if you don’t think about any movie, its not going to get the rating it deserves. Good movies weave layers of character and plot in words and tone and actions in ways you’ll appreciate more. Bad movies leave you asking questions that it doesn’t provide answers to because the morons writing a directing don’t know what thinking is. So yeah, absorb the movies.
Second, while I don’t like these movies, I never said I hated them, I said they are bad. I rarely use my opinions, usually only sticking to the facts. My standards are things like, consistent characters and plot, understanding how the mechanics of the setting work, Not having plot points be “Because they’re dumb”. I know you’re just a kid, but don’t let movies treat you like that.

And we were talking about Prey. If you want to talk about Badlands, I haven’t done that enough so I can point out everything awful. Because there is so much more wrong with Badlands than Prey.

If people read Badlands as a 400page novel it would probably sell real well and probably more appreciatize of the story. I’m surprised people haven’t looked into a novelization. People can take more from a depiction of story telling rather than a film.

I disagree. Book readers generally have a lower tolerance. Unless Dek fucks the robot, then the romance crowd will probably eat it up.

honestly it’s a better rating then those who say ‘OH DAN IS RUINING THE FRANCHISE EWWW’
