Itā€™s like playing as jason. You would never die. But you could still lose if they escaped. Thats the same way the predator should be. Especially since in basically 6 minutes they can escape. He should be so OP to the point the marines want to escape and not just feel confident that the preds going to die if they just ignore the objectives and camp at each others hips the whole time in the same spot.

Iā€™m winning 8 outta 10 matches as the pred against the Fireteam. So I win more then losing. But their are cases where no matter what I do strategically as the pred. Hes just too weak to win which Is why he needs the buff. Iā€™ve gone 3x in a row killing all 4 fireteam members as the pred. Hes good. But he needs to be better.

Jason Was Wasnt he ? Hahaha So why shouldnā€™t the pred Be. I know if I was a counselor. Iā€™d never try and actually kill jason. Even though were playing as marines now. It shouldnā€™t change. Because in a straight up fight. Jason Vs Predator. One shot of the plasma caster to the head of jason. Bye Bye Jason. Illfonic Iā€™m pretty sure will buff the predator soon. But it just frustrates me that they didnā€™t keep what we saw in the demo. And just add to it from there. Instead they changed what we all thought we were getting. But instead they make changes at the last minute. I mean who the fuck does that ? And takes youā€™re money. We are nerfing the predator guys in the final version. It would have been nice to fucking know that. Assholes man such a cheap move. If they dont get it right with the predator. Iā€™m never buying a game from these guys again. If I was their boss in the company. Iā€™d fire all the mechanics. And hire people who could do what the fans want and Truly deserve. Such a waste of potential of what this game could have been.

Obviously this is a pvp game thatā€™s why it isnā€™t a pred reskin of f13th. Iā€™m sure if itā€™s that much of a problem the world has two new games coming out these next two months.

Predator mains would also stop playing if there is no challenge to killing the fireteam. At the moment you feel good when you kill everyone. Iā€™d rather kill everyone cause Iā€™m good at the game not steamroll cause they never stood a chance.

    Is expected for the Predator to be more powerful, while the FT main advantage is numbers and coordination. Back then there was people hunting Predators with knifes only, imagine Evolve or F13th were the main threath is hunted by a single normal human using the weakest weapon?

So Iā€™m like the Largest advocate of nerfing knife to the ground and making parry simply negate or reduce the melee damage of the attack not stun the predator, causing the parry to simply be a way to survive a bit longer when being attacked, not a method of shutting down the predator and outright killing him. I donā€™t think pred needs a buff I think parry just needs a fat nerf.

I share the same thoughts, the knife should be a item that allows the FT to barely survive the Predator, and not killing him.
I also belive their stam should balanced some more, make it slow regen and sprinting drains more. A FT shouldnā€™t be able to keep up with a Predator in speed or in endurance(maybe Scout should be able to keep track of one, but not keep up with one).

Yeah so has anyone who is not awful at the game lol. Not saying you canā€™t win with it like this, Iā€™m saying itā€™s a dumb mechanic. Thatā€™s like saying if a bridge is broken itā€™s fine cause we can just build boats. Ehhh or we could just fix the problem at hand.

Oh I know itā€™s messed up Iā€™m just saying when you find a way around things itā€™s doesnā€™t present as much of an issue especially when you know any strategy you come up with is probably just gonna get nerfed anyway.

I mean there are plenty of ways around it, and strategy is awesome I love that there can be so many ways to play, but I just donā€™t like that if someone really wants to just make a build committing to melee ambushing, it gets shut down by anyone familiar with parrying. But yes I understand what youā€™re saying

Feels like players just want their preferred side to be OP so they will lose less. Rather than just get better and try new/different strategies.

I dunno if this is sarcasm. But I have gone against some pretty legit fireteams even after the patch. I think difficulty wise for my play style is Easy Beserker / Medium Hunter / Expert Recon.

I have been pressured almost beaten and then defeated.
