I mean, if they make the game super hard for FT more will replace the ones that leave.
We’ll lose the ones that think FT should be perfect, but people that can appreciate the challenge(like your Dark Souls typse) will step up.,

I’ve beaten every single souls game and maxed my characters level. Bloodborne DS3 Nioh Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Etc… I love A Challenge. I’m max level on bloodborne and DS3 and Sekiro. Predator Hunting Grounds Challenging ? Haha dont compare the Challenge to souls borne games. Their way above illfonics paygrade. I play the game to play as predator not marine. I dont mine playing as a marine sometimes. In fact the predator is still struggling a bit against skilled marine players. But this is normal. A predator cant just rush 4 armed skilled marines. Can he rush 4 armed noob marines and get away with it ? Hell yeah he can. But obviously if you’re not a skilled player regardless then you’ll die pretty easy. But Predator should be the main focus. Not the marines. So I could care less about the fireteam fans. I’d rather hunt a skilled predator that has the ability to be op regardless and play as a op pred anyday then get no thrill out of the hunt. Marines are all crying because why ??? They can’t fucking chase a pred with knives or Kill him so easily now. Fuckin noobs. Be quiet. The Devil laughs at you’re Stupidity.

Thats what i’m saying. If they buff pred to be a real challenge. Your softer players will either leave or switch teams, but the kind of players that appreciate a challenge will stay.,
I don’t think it’s a matter of being “soft” as you say. I’ve beaten Sekiro and all the Souls games numerous times. I love a challenege. But when players call for balance it’s about finding the sweet spot for a good time on both sides. I’m not saying the Predator shouldn’t be a real threat or pose a challenge. Thinking of Friday the 13th, Jason was super OP in a good way, but there were people who just toyed with him if he didn’t play right. He was still challenging to play. If you’re the Predator it should still take skill and require some effort to succeed. Otherwise, playing the Pred becomes boring and playing the fireteam becomes frustrating. It’ still a game. It’s needs to be fun even when it’s challenging.
Make The Pred super op just like jason then. Hes Still able to die. But at least if hes this way. He stays the hunter and doesn’t become the hunted. I just played my first few with the newest patch. He still needs a decent buff. Alot of you dont seem to get it. Its natural for the pred to be super op. Just like jason. It forces marines/counselors to try and escape or work better together as a team and not separate by completing objectives. But let’s say the predator plays it smart like everyone claims he should and says no problems or buffs will be needed that way. Then hes forced to watch you all stay hip and hip and escape. Until hes forced to rush you. And ends up dying anyway. BUFF THE FUCKIN PREDATOR ILLFONIC. Its that simple. Dont buff him where he can just rush 4 marines obviously But you need to buff him where he doesnt just die in that case. To where hes forced to retreat and heal. Because if the marines just stick together and dont separate the pred is gonna be forced to rush. So he needs a decent buff regardless. For those cry baby fire team guys. Who have no desire to play as predator. Go play another game. The game is meant to benefit the predator in more ways. Not the marines. Obviously Illfonic doesnt need to basically make him indestructible but they need to buff him regardless to where he can eat more damage. And they also need to buff his weapons. You wanna talk about Being OP as the pred. If this were a movie and more realistic The preds smart disc elder sword warclub etc… Would all be 1 or 2 shot kills. So the fact the preds ranged are shit and the melee are shit. Is just another indicator that he needs more buffed.

I think he’s in a good place. I can decimate with the Hunter. I honestly think the Zerker is a touch too strong. But I don’t have any trouble at all just destroying the fireteam right now. The only Preds I see having trouble are the ones who think they’re invincible and that the fireteam should just run away screaming whenever they jump down and start slashing away.
As a fireteam main I strongly agree. I want to be afraid of the predator, I want to struggle against him. That’s what makes these games so great. When you survive you feel like you earned that. But sadly that isn’t the case with this game. It’s way too easy and I don’t feel like I had to put up much of a fight or struggle at all. And killing the predator…I’ve gotten so used to that now it’s not even fun. Barely earned it. It’s no fun when what’s supposed to be a major threat you have to escape from is actually just a nuisance you can bully with a knife and tbag.
Well yes his ranged weapons need work. And parry still needs a further nerf. The fireteam can still use it too many times.
If the Pred wasn’t so easy to kill, FT wouldn’t hunt the pred so much and would play objective more…
Some people think Illfonic needs to motivate the FT to want yo play objective and stop hunting the Predator…
Well, i grew up in a corporal punishment house… for christmas when i was 14, my dad gave me a trip to the ER and a deviated septum…
My point? you don’t try to reason with bad kids, you spank them… and if they get to big to spank, you get creative…
Fireteam wants to keep playing the game in a way that wasn’t intended? Dont offer them candy, Spank them…
More to the point, give the Predator the tools to make Fireteam not want to chase it.,

I’ve played 6 matches now with the new patch. Alot of fire team members are dumb still and are easily killed if they separate. I just Pick them off one by one its is a great feeling. But when all they do is sit next to each other the entire time. To the point I’m forced to try and rush. This is literally where the pred needs buffing. Especially with his ranged weapons. If they buffed all his range weapons. They wouldnt even need to buff him. I’ll continue to give Illfonic the patience. But they better not disappoint because all of us have been more then patient already.

To be fair even if they did that it wouldn’t make much of a difference with the reinforcement system seeing as it’ll just deplete your resources and then they’ll come back and do it all over again.

Are you kidding me ? Haha No Not really. As a One of the many Pro Pred players. I actually encourage them to bring back their Fallen comrades. Because they can only do it once. I actually love it when they do. I’ll let them do it. Because now I know if I kill them. They stay dead.

You can play by yourself. I have quite a few times already. Just me against all AI humans. Hella Fun. But I enjoy the challenge toward actual players more. The preds basically indestructible against AI. So what’s the fun in playing that way all the time. Hahaha
Here’s my one problem as long as someone loses for some reason or another they will claim op even when it’s avoidable and this is both sides of the board.
Make The Pred So OverlyPowered. To where they sure as shit dont want to rush him or chase him. Make him powerful enough. To where the fireteam wants to get the hell outta dodge. The fireteam should not be making the predator become the hunted. A really smart fire team knows how to basically render the pred useless by just sitting next to one another in a room in all four corners. And ignore objectives. If the marines were forced to do the objectives. I think alot of players would learn the curve of playing as pred alot more. And would appreciate the style that needs to be played. But regardless of where the pred is now. If a team does that. As a pred you are forced to rush in. Its fucking stupid. So if they make him powerful enough to where they can’t do that. They will be forced to do the objectives instead just trying to kill the predator.

But Predator isn’t OP, he’s so/so I do way better as a fire team than as a Predator. Predators should be winning 2/3 if the matches not like 1/5.
