no amount of cheats on this game will make you win against pred in 1v1 unless the pred is bad to begin with
any decent pred will not even dare get close unless you are bloody
if you think winning a 1v1 knife fight being pred means you are good you have no idea what game you are playing
In knife fights if you are using a tank class like Dutch87 + 3 syrettes its pretty easy to win vs just wristblades. Specially if you decided to go with heavy hitter + double knife exploit. Heck I managed to win vs a Valky with Axe cus the guy missed the heavy attack then kept doing the light attack over and over, while I parried and kept healing unlike him whose hp kept going down. And all I do is to keep spamming the knife attack.
For me its boring I prefer to aim and shoot, spamming melee takes as much skill for Pred as it does for Ft, there are people that only good at this game doing such braindead gameplay.
for me, exclusively melee on this game takes little to no skill since the mechanics are extremely simple for both
is more a game of reaction, which again, not much skill involved… is not like you have to make a sequence of attack combos
then of course you have the amount of hits you need to land on one to another, which for FT is always going to be more, no matter how tanky and op your class is.

that is a very compelling argument i suppose if you look at generality you are right as other classes are only really better with more specific or niche builds (recon spotter tracker, Dante field medic TS+OWLF, scout duelist, dutch 87 fanatic TS+OWLF,) so yeah i guess i agree with you assault is probably the best class generally

For me, I kinda stopped playing sweaty a while back and moved on to having fun with different builds, and I found Dante Unleashed to be the most fun, I remember how we would bring all kinds of explosives and bomb preds to death, nothing more satisfying than landing an underbarrel nade to the chest and getting 300+ xp 330xp was my max with underbarrel. Idk how choppra can land with granede launcher I wouldn’t land a single one…

In general, yes, assault is the best class, but a coordinated fireteam using those others you mentioned is 100% better.
