TITLE: ATTN. PC EPIC/STEAM + PS /XBOX Players:
SUBJECT: YOUR SAVE/GAME SETTINGS PARAMETERS ARE OUT OF DATE!!!
ISSUE: Patch updates that are downloaded through STEAM/EPIC GAMES STORE happen all the time and even though you downloaded the update you still need to delete your save/settings file in order to update LOADOUTS/KEYBINDS/SETTINGS to match it.
OBSERVATIONS: Your save/settings file are XML based and are created the first time you install the game. The structure of these files don’t change or is falsely understood that they should never change. Backups are often used for some users who want to keep past loadouts/settings.
EVIDENCE: CONTROLLED PROJECTILE MOUSE SENSITIVTY didn’t exist in my previous save as of yesterday but when I deleted my save/settings files it suddenly appeared.
OTHER EVIDENCE: Keybinds have ordered listings for each patch. When new patches come out, the devs might change these orders. Not deleting your save/settings files retains the exact same orderings of previous builds. Therefore by deleting the SAVE/SETTINGS, keybind listings will then be reordered to the current schema.
CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: Save/Settings files need to reflect the new patch updates however the process when you update the game with the new patch doesn’t update any of your settings with it! Therefore, these files need to be deleted and a new ones need to be created upon relaunch.
