Authentication bug bug problem

As you start up predator hunting grounds it gives u a loading screen saying authentication this lasts for about 20 minutes and always ends up saying user login failure verify internet connection

What kind of internet service do you have? Where are you located?

I have this problem too from the beginning, I had just post one photo here and call epic games assistence but I have not received any response. It’s a serious problem because I buy tge game but I can’t play it…

england virgin have been having huge problems for the past day or so. they say its fixed now. but iv had the same and am also on virgin.

and it doesnt matter if you use another conenction like a mobile teather becase somewhere along the thousands of connections to get to the server there is another virgin owned line that has the problem.

So its not always “your internet”

But rather “the internet” in terms of all the conenctions that lead to your house.

sometimes you may see facebook works, but an american hosted site wont. Thats becaus facebook has massive datacenter caches everywhere so you can always access it quickly but the small american shop you are looking at hosts on a server in their shop, so the connection problem exist between america and you somewhere but not between you and the facebook cache datacenter

I dont know who I have to call to remove that problem. Epic games assistence doenst answer and I didnt find an answer in reddit😔

yeah there are a lot of internet issue globally at the moment, virgin espeacially.

you can try on other internets like mobile teather etc but they all connect through the same infrastructure. there isnt any fix or anything you can really do just wait and when the issues are fixed wit the networks it will work again. been explaining this to others but they just dont understand

It’s not really the point though is it

It’s the fact that there’s no way to get this bug that doesn’t allow u to play the game out into the world and there has been no news from developers on if they even know this exists this should have been dealt with in the first patch

its totally gone away for me now, i dont get the disconnections and heartbeat error message any more. was real bad yesterday. i couldnt log on at one point had to go on play offline

So mine is fixed now don’t know how but it allowed me in the game

you can play every time? Sometimes I can play the game and sometimes not, I don’t what’s the problem, what do you do to fix it?

cant really do anything its not a problem with your system or conenction its somewhere else
