The assaut has a backpack in both suits. Why, then, at least the support does not have a backpack? I can understand from owlf operative and scout. (Although here I also think that a backpack will be needed). But the support carries a bunch of everything, including first-aid kits and cartridges for the whole squad. This is not a claim, but just a reflection.
