Balance-- fire team needs TENSION & Predator needs TIME & Supplies

The fire team has more than enough time, the possibility of 4 players with ammo / health perks and reinforcements. Most Predators just struggle until we get the stick and I don’t like trying to be a bullet sponge to rush a kill" this tactic feels cheap and not fun". Desperate Predators are going kamikaze :/

As the Predator I cannot play against a team I slowly damaged and eliminated while I used all my supplies only to have fully supplied reinforcement arrive and me having minimal heath and nothing to work with. = game over for me

Fire team Changes
Last night as the fire team we had 10 minutes & 30 something seconds when it was time to extract. usually 8 1/2- 9 1/2 remaining.
1- AI should be a real threat dealing WAY MORE damage 3-4X more. As of now they are no more than an annoying mosquito to shoot and cause noise.
2- Multiple more objectives in a 15 minute game or 5 less minutes with a 4th mandatory and optional objective
3- Reinforcements with half supply & ammo holding ability or no extra supplies at all. Predator doesn’t get to resupply or call for help EVER.

Predator Changes “Base loadout”
1- Infinite or at least 6 heals and more wild bores to keep the Predator in the game and dangerous
2- Faster weapon switching. “I know there’s a perk I want this a s a base”
3- 100% invisible cloak at a significant distance. Slightly harder to spot at a medium distance.
4- 3-5 MORE gear items in a slot. For example 5 bear traps minimum should be 7
5- Faster range weapon charging with a little more energy reserves
6- Slightly higher ranged weapon damage output

I want a high tension, barely making it out alive fire team scenario with a Terrifying and dangerous Predator stalking/killing creating pressure. “This is what happens in the movies” As of now the Fire team is on a vacation and the Predator is under supplied and short on time.

Maybe have a Predator ship cloaked somewhere so They can resupply. Since the fire team gets reinforcements

oh bro, if they do your changes so, good luck finding a match, most of the ppl play Pred, and if you buff him, WHAT HE DONT NEED and you nerf the firearms, no one will play them…

go and play Daying Light if you wanna be op and your opponents only victims…

Nothing worse than killing 3 of 4 being out of everything and reinforcements arrive while they are ready to extract. #hopeless

yep i said this in beta. you can get a new mask if its shot off, get new heal kits and ammo / traps etc

I survive almost every game with massive time to spare with everyone usually

Fireteams never run short on ammo and heals… they run around like headless chickens and spray their bullets everywhere instead of making their shots count by aiming for the heads.
Once the fireteam takes damage they simply shrug it off… 12 medpack heals, 8 syringe, severall heals to pick up, reviving, reinforcement within some seconds (instead of defending for 2-3 minutes), etc…

Played fireteam a lot and it’s just too easy it gets boring real quick and the predator scout is pretty much useless.
Tried the scout a lot with a bow since this class is for harrassing from distance because he is agile but squichy. In a single match i downed them 9 times, killed 2 and yet they got reinforcements and all could escape with maximum health since i had to pick up my arrows again after i needed to retreat to heal up again since i took a single bullet from a sniper and second wind started.

Right now there is only 1 single viable strategy as predator… berserk with stick runs into melee, punches everyone to death = win.

I hate kamikaze combistick plays this is dumb for the fire team and lame for Predator

people are doing that because its the only way to win at the minuet.

Im not even bothered about wiping the whole team but taking a hunter class and trying to do hunting/stelth and wearing them down just doesnt work. they spot you, chase you , kill you.

so the only tactic is “bumrush and prey you kill them before they kill you”

When you watch the devs livestream it seems all fun and ballanced but thats because they are playing in a closed group, and its a friendly setting, and no offence they are average and so are many of us. they need to see what its like playing against other fire teams.

Again a match as scout (since i still don’t want the cheesy way with berserk+combistick)… and yet all escaped even i collected 3 skulls.
I ran out of supplies and they got reinforcement + ridiculous amount of heals.

This seriously need some balance

I’m 41 not a kiddie. Dead by daylight is Awesome btw. As for DBD they have a serious killer shortage. 2 years ago it was 15% confirmed by devs. now even less. it need 20% for balanced lobbies. Killers have to be efficient and quick to win. Dumb survivors making idiotic plays and wasting time is the #1 reason they lose. I have years of playing that game on both sides. If you feel like a victim in BDB you still have a lot to learn about how to play survivor. They have the advantage. Just recently the balance is getting better. I LOVE competitive high tension gameplay. I want that in Hunting grounds. This isn’t a COD kill the predator game. The only thing the Predator has is Combistick w/ Berserker and this meta needs to change. I DON"T mean nerf this either devs. Just make everything else more valuable

They have to do something because playing on a fireteam is embarrassingly easy. I almost feel bad for The Predator.

F13 had the same issue. Players were trolling Jason. This was slightly adjusted after a year or 2. I stopped playing F13 because of players not leaving “holding the game hostage” by hiding to run out the clock as well as feeling like I don’t have to do anything to survive. Others will easily take care of everything and Jason was being clowned on. 1 game I had to stay in the water because they were swarming me. WTF Clearly making the majority of players happy 8 of 9.
Making 4 of 5 players happy with a easy win in Hunting Grounds could likely make the other 20% (Predators) stop enjoying the game or forever more rely on rushing with melee attacks. This may cause the same issues as DBD as Killer requires too much effort for most. Losing the majority of the time is NO fun. Hence keeping 80% of the player base happy is the path taken. Noobs are happy with the fire team win and expect to struggle with the predator at first, but when the struggle doesn’t change frustration may set in and no challenge for the fire team will leave me bored quick. I want even competitive tension for both sides
I even started staying a short distance away from the chopper cause we have sooooo much time to spare we might as well attempt to get the Predator kill as well instead of leaving with half the game time remaining

A fully charged plasma caster headshot will one hit kill a support class fireteams member if you have the ranged damage perk. But a faster charge up or no charge up would be nice.

That would be good, but only have it show up when the reinforcements arrive. Would be my suggestion.

Inaccurate, it take 7 gear points for for field syrette and medical kits. 2 field syrette and 3 medical kits. The fire teams have to find extras in which case, keep the pressure up. Though I do believe there needs to be a bigger supply of boars to heal the predator
