I know how to do it. It will take a drastic mechanics overhaul tho. Basically you take the smart disk and throw it. If disk returns, pred wins. If it gets stuck somewhere - FT wins. I know it’s not fun, but perhaps if disk shaders were available that would make the game more enjoyable.

If the game was actually balanced, youd be able to actually use full combos in melee instead of having to jump around scared to death simply because ppl look at you.

Oh no I believe you. I can tell tou one game that is like that. Fucking Mario Kart. You can be #1 all the race and at the very last second the player behind gets a fucking purple shell, blasts you off and now you end up 8th if lucky. Its also bullshit and why people get so frustrated at that game.
Ironically, that’s exactly how the game feels now. That all either faction needs is a “lucky shot” and GG.

That isnt the case.
We need an actual melee system with sweeps, knock ups, knock downs, knock backs, grabs, throws, pulls, pushes, and dodges.
It would be easy to pull off, but it would be extremely rewarding.
You would see melee masters being able to use pure melee on an ft.
Just like how each pred class needs to start feeling an actual different class, and not a sub class.
With actual differences, like different gear and skill.
Classes where the pc isnt even used.
Hell maybe even no mask.
