Balance is not the problem, the problem is the PVE

Weak/strong whatever, the PVE is the weakest factor of the game, some maps and missions are either too hard or consume too much time to complete without giving a real challenge
The soldiers should deal more damage to the predator and actually ATTACK AND KEEP ATTACKING him, too many times they ignore the alien running through them and fire at the fireteam

The fireteam is pretty weak if surounded by soldiers and attacked by the predator but the problem is they can’t chase the predator(and he just leaps over a wall) while the soldiers attack the FE

Now, there are snipers, heavy, assaults, shotgun guys etc, they should have specialised gear and pose a threat to the predator. Or at least make them panic and run away for 10 seconds when the predator is in a 5M radius.

Also, all soldiers spawn kind of late on the map, especially while doing objectives…the map needs more soldiers spawned on it to actually stop the predator, maybe target him.
I have 10000 sugestions but its pointless if the devs don’t understand that the PVE is the real problem

Have literally watched Recon’s tank sustained fire from half a dozen armored PMC’s and multiple Juggernauts.

Here’s the thing that is unfortunate about this game and its AI.

Its not capable of much it seems.

Your suggestion on the AI multi tasking/putting Priority at different situations on Predator and the FireTeam at different times requires a much, much better, flexible AI.

You’re talking about something found in early days of Division 2 or D2 or even stuff like MW.

You want the AI to react to getting shot up by fire team, shoot back, see the jungle move and spray it up in fear. AI is in a gun fight then predator drops in line of sight and choose to either shoot Voodoo or Predator, while taking into account of how many AI should switch to shooting at the predator while not making it.seem they forgot about Fireteam.

That’s a much higher level of AI, can illfonic do it? I have absolutely no idea. Is the game capable? Probably not. Could it be a massive rework patch? Maybe, I hope. Thats a massive, massive redo of the map pathing, single or group behavior, melee range, a cover system for the AI, aim limitation and a plethora of stuff needs to be done.

The problem this AI is extremely basic, which is why they do little damage to any player, FireTeam Or predator unless the only one in the area and focused fire. The AI runs on an aim bot thats seems to be told not to shoot right away but it has bot aim once shooting, probably no recoil, so the bullets land. Even so, Fireteam and Predator can both tank hits pretty well from AI but for good reason, it avoids using the AI auto aim from making the player (easily) weak or low hp and going for a easy kill. Also from using AI as a shield.

AI at its current state is just used as a distraction or to get Fireteam from keeping a buttcheek to buttcheek diamond formation at all times.

Hey there, a guy in a tank top with bare torso withstands the fire of 45 people with shotguns, sniper rifles and machine guns. Did you play FT at all? Yes, people do not give a damn about PVE. They DO NOT DAMAGE not only to the predator but also to the soldiers.
