Balance issues

The main issue I’d like to address here is that there are no good answers for a predator playing against a good fireteam. This isn’t meant to be a complaint as per I get plenty of wins against average fireteams. It just bothers me that a good fire team that works together to deal damage, spots the predator consistently, and knows how to properly use a knife, are seemingly unbeatable.

No discredit to these fire team members intended. Their skill is 100% recognized, and I’m not trying to say they shouldn’t win, I’m simply saying the game should not be that 1 sided.

There truly is no answer to playing against a good ft when everything you do is designed to give your position away including not moving or attacking.

They need to reduce or ar least rework the Predator sounds. Maybe make them different, if the predator run the sounds are more noticeable and if he crouch walk is less. In order to not being spotted across the map for ecample.

Not just stomping man, crouch walking shouldn’t make noise, landing crouched should make a slightly muffled thud, walking shouldn’t make much noise unless your in water or on a metal structure.

The clicking is fine as is, but should not click when crouched and not moving, at least then you could have a second to cool off without giving away your position.

The biggest issue I have is that the ranged weapons are designed to give you away. I can understand the caster because that’s suppose to happen, but a bow, disk and spear should not have a trail.

Currently the stealthiest pred weapon is the hand held pistol because its shot travels so fast it’s hard to track if the predator is careful.

Give the Predator more perk slots & perk points.
More variety and tactical options are required. :)

+more perks in general.

@Yautjahunter

Do as I do: when I see certan PC teams (yes, I know them all, all of their names / gamer tags, for ex. Minnichka, Prozy, Dice, Crushing Blades, Adam Schaeffer, even Flash Gordon who I thinK is @YUPPERS… btw nothing personal) , I quit the lobby and wait another 10 minutes for a good match.

Sounds as a loser-attitude? Probably yes if you see things from a weirdo/ lame/ wanker point of view (as those forementioned players are)

Minnichka is a her, and she is learning the game. She is avarage 😂

Sono tutti dei bimbominkia

Maybe youll learn something if you play it through

What if the Ft knifes had a health bar all them selves like after 5 successful parries the knife breaks and the player loses the ability to knife for the rest of the round?

Nah. Please start calling it a stun lock

I can deal with a stun lock. But I think the ft player should really only be able to parry 3 or 4 times them have no stamina to parry

If you get parried 4 times you lost the game 2 parries ago

I agree with stamina needed for knife attacks, but limitated the number of parry will be unskilled for predator. Melee should never be overpower

Tried too many times… Sure is a challenging training… A bit too frustrating for my taste. I want to have fun while I play, no matter if I lose or I win.

Imo parrying isnt an issue.

The issue is that pred does shit damage with almost all melee weapons. So a single parry is wasting valuable time that you already dont have because by the time you down someone their team that was on the other side of the camp is on you.

Not only that, but because melee does shit damage, the FT can run at you with a knife because they can fuck up so many times with parrying that they dont fear failing it.

besides, the only thing you can do when alone as FT is buy time against pred, till your teamates come to help. Shooting him does dick because his health is high enough to take sustained fire from 2 ft reliably.

You wanna balance the game, how about predator stop being a tank, and focus more on stealth. that fixes most issues. Increase melee damage, so pred can capitalize on wandering FT members, but also make the parrying windows slightly bigger. so you CAN parry, but you shouldnt unless you have to.

Sure 1 encounter yeah but multiple encounters through the match no

One parry should (I’m stupid and stubborn so i don’t always practice what I preach) be enough to make the point. If you have time switch to plasma and hit a shot or two at point blank then jump out. Or throw combi if you’re carrying it. Either way, stop engaging when you lose the advantage or your asking for second wind.

Thats how play. Shit if I even see a player spaming the parry button or melee button i back off. There are so many pred players that dont seem to learn from the mistakes and just keep getting punished for.
Side note. Not saying anyone hear are those players

Oh I’ll admit that I am. Heat of the moment a lot of times ill get mad and press the issue and almost always pay for it lol. Like I said i don’t always practice what I preach.
